Bielsa can be very stubborn.

posted on 16/5/19

I think Bielsa is certainly partly responsible. He can be stubborn and in the end I think his lack of options on the bench and a lack of a plan B wasn't enough to get us over the line in some games. I think of QPR, Wigan, Stoke away, Sheff U and Norwich at home.

I do honestly believe the best overall team in the league (Leeds) hasn't won promotion. Do not confuse this with having the best squad.

The biggest proportion of the blame though sits with the Leeds board and owners. They did not strengthen when we were in pole position for auto promotion. It is unforgivable and its hard to feel good about Leeds United whilst the current owner(s) are still there.

Yeah lets blame MB for giving us our best season in at least 15 years

It's doom and gloom at the moment, can't think of anything else, we had so much hope. Back to the drawing board and maybe L1.

Agree fully

Rightly or wrongly Bielsa works with a small squad he does all his prep work pre-season, he wanted one player who was sat at thorp arch in his kit waiting to sign, judge the owner on what happens now MB needs confirming ASAP and the players he wants signing before preseason starts, he’s been loyal to the players this season but I would expect a few to be surplus to requirements as he plans for next season,

We have the drop in next season if Bielsa stays. He's here, his methods are here, he knows Leeds. We're in a waaaaay better place if he stays and we crack on early. He needed just 2/3 extra players, not exactly another squad is it. Trim the fat, sell on those who want out, and go again.

Bielsa will walk,if so let's get Big Sam in and sort the defence out.

Getting big Sam in exactly wrong thing to do.

We should never accept garbage football in hope we might go up.

Nothing wrong with the defence

We need better attacking players to conver the great situations we get into

posted on 16/5/19

The defence is garbage always likely to concede out of nothing, full of mistakes. Couple that up with Casilla and it's a disaster. Big Sam solid manager who knows what it takes.

Said Same about Warnock

Doesn’t and shouldn’t ever accept these types of managers

posted on 16/5/19

If we'd had had strikers that stayed fit and could convert more of the chances that the rest of the team set up, we'd have been promoted a long time ago.

The defence looked all over the place at times yesterday, but we had half our first choice back-line out.

Improving the defence would be great, but it's not the defence that has meant that we've dropped out of contention at exactly the wrong time, it's the fact that we don't covert enough of our chances.

Over the two legs, we had some great chances and that's the story of our season. Bielsa's style will always leave holes in the defence- it works when you take your chances.

The Pablo mis hit in the first leg, Roofe shot just after the goal. Then second leg, a host of good opportunities wasted in their box.

Then they scored 4 out of 5 chances.

If you don't concede you don't lose. Therefore last 4 games we would have got 10 points and not 1

Whichever manager we get, he needs backing, that’s the perennial problem.

I’d love Bielsa to stay but not end of world if he Doesn’t, for example Chris Hughton with I think 3 promotions from championship might be a consideration.

Whoever it is, if they’re fed Ortas diet of loaners and cricks they’ll get nowhere.

Big Sam must be an amazing manager if his teams never lose.....

Lost thirteen matches Wigan Ipswitch Birminghham etc etc g.ung Ho in every match not the way to achieve promotion not good enough

posted on 16/5/19

We can't go from Bielsa to Chris Hughton who stunk out the PL and that's why he was sacked.

I would take quality football over winning promotion with hoofball every season.

We finished 3rd!

The lack of signings in January killed us and us having a paperthin squad.

It was a disaster going in to the season with 2 recognised CB's plus we should have not only replaced Saiz but added to the squad as well.

In hindsight, me and my dad thought it would have made sense to go with Cooper Jansson AND Berardi at the back with a back 5 and Phillips in front. Just keep them out.

Championship or L1 after that !

my first choice would have been conte but hes now at inter Milan. I hope MB stays and is given the resources necessary. But, if he does go then I'd want Wenger as the manager. I think he is great working with young squads and ok we might not win the league but he'd take us up.
