Ruptured achilles is a real bad one right?
It is bad. Did mine last year.. was in a boot for 3 months, then 4 months of rehab... still not got all of the strength back in my calf yet
I doubt Sarri would have wanted any part of this ridiculous friendly, a week before a European Cup Final. What on earth were the club thinking ?? Utterly moronic.
He must have had pressure to play the top guys because Roman was there. Almost certain of it.
Especially after the heat he supposedly got for his comments on the friendly.

Undoubtedly. Hope Roman's happy now.

That's good because we're not going to win it at this rate.
RLC and (probably) Kante out - arguably our two best players outside of Hazard. I accept this match was for a good cause - but it could have been delayed in the event of us getting to the Europa league final. It's so stupid - I feel for Ruben. He must be absolutely gutted. And honestly - Sarri's Chelsea career could be ended due to this - something that was entirely out of his control. It's yet another example of how little thought goes into the running of the club. It's an incredibly stupid, preventable situation.
Blue? Which good cause would that be?
It's Romans baby Bov, anti semitism ,yes a good cause.
But in all honesty,RLC could have twisted his ankle or whatever, treading on a bar of soap in the shower . Sa la ve'.
With our squad, of course we can still win the EL.

The fight against racism and anti-semitism. Unless you are suggesting that is not a good cause?
It is a good cause. Not necessarily one that a football match needs to be arranged around a week before a cup final though.
