Trouble is there are A LOT of clubs out there looking for quality CBs right now. We don’t know at the moment whether we offer anyone CL football, so what can you expect other than these kind of links?
I’ve not seen this guy play - as I’m sure have none of you (though that’s an entirely different matter) but we do have a lot of ‘3 star hotels’ at the back currently. Would be nice not to sign another Ibis standard defender.

Carzola is 34 and was still recovering from a very serious injury. At that age, you never recover fully and you are injury-prone esp in a very physical league. Good decision, La Liga suits him better.

Konate or Tah would be better options. They are tall which means you can press and force the opponents to play it long which gives you the chance to win the headers and second balls.

Why are we looking at 6ft CB again. We are absolutely useless at long balls so why sign someone who will most like be chite especially in the physical pl.
I like what I see in Djene- the Gatafe defender.
Would say he could also play as a right back and as a DM.
Worth a punt.
