Destabilises the club?

Always aimed at Spurs?!

You seriously believe that?

Haha.

Klopp has been linked to the job too

Pep was asked about the Juve job yesterday, it’s not just Poch.

I wouldn’t worry about it, it’s nailed on that it will be Conte.

Poch turned down Madrid last summer when we had no money, no stadium and no final, I can’t see him being desperate to jump ship for Juve.

You gotta calm down, there will be a hundred of these stories this summer.

Yeah I do. Same tried and tested format:
1. Find out a Manager is leaving a well known club.
2. Don't bother writing a new piece, just drag out the template you used before and change the name of the club Poch is now going too..
3. Don't actually check any facts.
4. Pay a couple of TV celebrities to support the story, this time Lineker.
5. Sell more papers.

To be honest it is not far short of slander.

Definitely gonna be Conte who gets the job anyway

Paranoid much?

It would help if Poch himself didn't give the media tantalising hints about leaving rather than shutting down the speculation. Klopp doesn't feed the media in the same way that Klopp does

And can you explain how the media can justify writing stories about Pep leaving?

Poch never straight bats anything, he never has. You just have to look at his “I will leave if we win the CL” comment which he took back after we beat Ajax. Also I think some of what Poch says gets lost in translation.

Juve is a massive club, but Serie A is not a prime destination these days, the Prem and La Liga have far more pull and the Bundesliga is is slightly more appealing.

Not sure why there are soooo many wet knickers, Conte is nailed on, 100%

Wouldn't it be refreshing if, firstly they write about Pep or Klopp being in the frame
=======
Don't be ridiculous.

Every story they write must at least be plausible. Pep and Klopp leaving their clubs is not plausible but Poch leaving for Juve is plausible.

This is blinkered paranoia. You are seeing things that aren't there because you want to make out like everyone is against Spurs. Did media personalities meet one day and decide to report negatively re Spurs and Poch?

This happens to all clubs at one time or another. Spurs aren't special in that respect. Get over yourself.

Honestly yeah. They wrote constantly about "Poch to Utd" for about 3 months solid for christ sake. How many times have we read ( consistently ) about any other PL manager going to this club or that club. Plenty like Sarri being sacked or Ole appointed too early, but none are regularly put forward every time a vacant position comes up.
Not paranoid, just stating facts.

It's no real surprise when Poch has talked about the possibility of leaving is there? He's also clearly frustrated at the way things are at Spurs currently. Klopp has possibly the most settled side in the league and everything is going well here so of course he's not going to be mentioned as much, if at all.

No one cares about Spurs enough to create a sustained media campaign designed to destabilise the club.

True story.

posted on 18/5/19

I think it's also worth noti g what Poch himself says to the media if you're going to bleat on about this sh!t all the time. He fuels it himself.

Personally I think you should read a book rather than taking in low rent media all the time but if the cap fits I guess.

Can only put this article down to delusions of grandeur on the part of the author, projecting his paranoia onto the club and assuming this paper tittle tattle has the same destabilising effect on Levy and co as it does on him and, presumably, his family's weekend...

You have a good manager who is getting linked to available managerial posts.

Imagine the shock.
