As much as they try Man City cannot buy the biggest prize of all the CL. Only watched the last 20 minutes today, but the way the BBC were fawning over City and Guardiola was embarrassing.

Of course if you blow all opposition out of the water with your spending power you are going to win all the trophies. Chelsea did it before City. Never ever gets mentioned by the media though, that it is the money that is picking up these trophies and not the manager. My granny could manage City, as she could Celtic in Scotland. Bless her she has been dead 50 years as well.

Agreed. Spurs have saved everyone from this world domination. Really proud of my team for being the only team to stop them.

On a serious note, we should all be worried with how City are taking over. Frankly there is no enjoyment in seeing the same team win everything, and they are slowly killing the game in this country. CL seems to be the only thing they can't dominate, and I for one hope that continues.

Take today's cup final, it was the first one in many years that I have not sat through, turning it off at 3-0, seeing it as a boring pointless game.

Cup finals should not be that one sided. They have always been exciting, with the winner not always known until the match is fully panned out. They are invariably won by the odd goal, and apart from fans of the loosing team, a day to look forward to. This one ? meh, just meh.

Once again the football world should be thanking Spurs from preventing a complete whitewash.

Champions league requires a lot of luck at times, Nash as it did for Chelsea in 2012 and spurs if they win it. Only way spurs win it is if it goes to pens. But tbh they are in the final by fluke and Liverpool will likely smash them

Well said Don, Spurs are their because they deserve to be in the final. I actually fancy them to finish the job off and beat Liverpool as well. League Form has been awful, but CL form has been decent, even the first three games where they only had one point, they should have won both the games at Inter and PSV.

Have you been sleeping through the entire history of the premier league? aside the odd miracle story that show it’s always been done.

Love that people think it’s anazibg pool and spurs made the CL final. It’s not. Spurs maybe due to hoe they are run(very well I’d say), but the return for ppl clubs in the CL has been abysmal given how much more money our teams have than any of the opposition.

It speaks volumes for Ajax on just how well they are ran from top to bottom, that they cane a whisker away from making the final, against teams with 10x their budget, real, juve and spurs. Year, for all that they so nearly did it.

Money has corrupted the game.

Liverpool is a club with a genuine history. Citay ( That's Mancunian City, not Coventry City, Leicester City, City of London or New York City) have come out of nowhere are seem to be the new Chelsea. No respect or admiration for them one iota.
