That's a first in my lifetime.

Wolves start in the second qualifying round and in that round, and the one after, they are expected to be seeded so will avoid most of the bigger clubs in the competition in the early stages. Could mean trips to the more obscure nations like Khazakstan, Lithuania or Scotland

7th and Europa league qualification was up there at the highest end of my most optimistic expectations for this season. A tangible and fitting prize for a fantastic season.

Of the 27 teams that start in the second qualifying round Wolves are in fact the 4th highest ranking (seeded) after Sparta Prague, Eintracht and Espanyol. 2 other teams who may join them have a higher ranking, FCSB and Malmo.

By being seeded hopefully we will get easy enough draws in the first two rounds to enable us to send out a team where many of our top players can be rested for the opening league games. Last year Burnley started off with Aberdeen and Istanbul Besaksehir before coming unstuck against Olympiacos

Looking at Wolves app/ website and the players international commitments, I hope Jiminez in particular is getting holiday/ family time now as Mexico are in a tourney from 15 June to 7 July, can’t see him playing in early rounds of europa cup

And then some of them will be going on the Wolves trip to China, wish I was a fit young man like them, what a career to have at that age

I thought Raul looked a bit leg weary in the last 2 or 3 weeks of the season and in need of a rest more than most
