Well most people have just had the best season following this club that they can remember.

Whilst I think you have valid points.

Sometimes it the way something is done, not the end result.

Football over the last 20 years has turned into just a results business and sadly football fans have had to put up with garbage football in the name of results. Thankfully good coaches like klopp, pep, guy at wolves and others, have started to turn the tide and play good attacking football.

Football is about fans been happy, not feeling it’s a chore to go.

Only an idiot would beilsa to go.

Do you want him to go ???

OP has valid points, but such a negative thread. Leeds failed, Bielsa didn't.

It was our highest league position finish since 2003/4. With pretty much the same players as last year's debacle.

You spent the first 6 months of the season complaining that a 'super coach' can't work without 'super players'. You just didn't get it. He improves the players and the team.

Post all you like, but your opinion is worthless to me.

I don't agree with everything he's done, but if you thought we'd finish 3rd with the players we have, or thought we should have been dead certs for autos at the beginning of the season, then you're a bare faced liar.

And your post history will bare that out.

We fell short, but we wouldn't have had that hope without Bielsa.

I hope to #uck he's here next season. If you're here next season, I'm indifferent on that.

Some of us expect much more than others.
I support the great Leeds United not Mickey Mouse Huddersfield or Barnsley for example.
It’s not good enough.
However the championship is now the best league in the world but that doesn’t excuse incompetence.

We were never going to finish 3rd
He was brilliant.
You have to take your chances in life.
It could be a very long wait

Promotion - I realise from your earlier posts that for you things are either 'good' or 'bad' when it comes to things that you are passionate about.
That's fine for you, but for most people we see things as a mixture of good AND bad. For us, if we see a season with 90% good stuff in it and 10% bad, even though we didn't get the end result we wanted, it gives us hope that we are heading in the right direction and might just get the 100% good result next season.
Bielsa is the one who got us the 90% good this season instead of the usual 50%. He's been a massive force for good in this club so far and gives us hope for the future.
I feel sorry for you that you are unable to see the world in a way that is kinder to yourself.

You said he'd be gone by Christmas. He's definitely overachieved by your prediction.

Wow, you have a special one here lads.

I'd love to who the OP would replace Bielsa with?

Pathetic article.

Took an average side to 3rd and the players cost us the play offs. How can you account for what Cooper and Berardi did?

January window destroyed our season.

Not buying anyone or Casilla

It is true we failed miserably since the New year, our form was a joke. But then there were many injuries !

How can I give an article a minus star rating?

Such rubbish that you can put it down since the new year.

You had the last 4 games to easily cross the line, that's when you blew it, Wigan especially.

What doesn't kill you makes you stronger, you keep Marcelo, you walk it next season and then probably better prepared for it.

I've watchied the full game several times and the 2nd goal was really crucial, if the deflected Keogh header had to have being a foot less, it would be a villa, Leeds final.

As many have said on here to do what he has done with a similar squad to last season and to change a mindset without it being his first language was scary to the rest of us and knowing how difficult this league is, there were times I wished it was you that went up auto and take our chances against Sheff Utd.

As it turned out, what Liverpool and Spurs did probably helped but you still need that fall of the ball and we got it.

Go again lads because it will happen and when it does the PL no matter what fans of other clubs say, you are PL fans.

Btw not in the mood to do all the bantz again next season so don't be shy to wish us well

Not only did Bielsa obtain our highest place finish for years, he’s brought a type of football that is exciting to watch, turned average players into a team that were nearly promoted, who would have predicted that last May? He has also got the feel good factor back, people are talking about Leeds for the right reasons, not for court cases, tax evasion, Arabs with no money etc. Bielsa has brought much integrity to the club, he has blamed himself and protected the players. Yes, we didn’t get what we all hoped for, but last season was such an up in terms of what we have become used to. Let’s hope Bielsa and his legacy are part of the Leeds philosophy for a long time.

I cant even begin to comprehend how happy you were when derby got their fourth.

Cause not going up so you could gloat about being "right" was all you ever cared about.

How dare you call yourself a fan.

I actually envy not606 sometimes, at least they kicked your scuzzball backside off their platform and dont have to put up with you.

You can post some sense when you’re not fishing igor!

Football games and often seasons hinge on pivotal moments, sometimes moments of brilliance, more often mistakes.

Wednesday’s game was in the balance, there were numerous moments that could have taken it in a different direction for both sides. The key ones in the end went Derby’s way. Otherwise we’d be lining up Villa and commending derby for a plucky display in defeat.

Pundits, reporters, everyone get carried away with results. Actually, the one thing the coaches have no control over is whether the players On a given day take their chances, Fck up, whatever.

Playoffs are a lottery, Leeds issue was being there in the first place. If you watched all our games this season, you think how did we lose that one or that one? Lack of killer instinct at one end of the pitch, and lapses in composure/concentration at the other.

If Bielsa stays, we will play exactly the same way next season... we will be vulnerable to counters, we will lose games we dominate... but hopefully with a bit more quality in the squad (if Radz can borrow a bit of cash, and not sell our assets) in key positions... we will get the results that reflect the games more often. It’s fine margins.
