True. But no club has ever done this before, you can’t take that away from them

They’ve been getting easy cup draws for a couple of seasons now. Their CL group was the easiest out of the 4 English teams as well.

Their easy cup runs have definitely helped them out in their quest for the treble. Look how they came unstuck against us in the CL, mainly because we were the best team they faced in any of their cup runs.

How we got that VAR decision in our favor at the Emptihad I will never know. I think someone pressed the wrong button

That was like the most unspursy thing that's ever happened to us.

Stop entertaining this clown black star by the way guys. Anyone can see his article is a blatant attempt at trying to WUM. Not that anyone can WUM us for being in a CL final , but he’s a wind up merchant clown and reeling you all in. He’s been predicting Spurs to achieve nothing and get nowhere in the CL
All season, now calls us Wimbledon and lucky to get there. Guys an alcoholic and a plank, stop entertaining him.

I love how black star calls me “obsessed “ yet noticed I have put up twice about his article pot calling the kettle black spring to mind ? Following my comments around like a bad smell. The only reason I saw black stars article was because I was signed out and come across it. No other reason why I would entertain reading the jealous Spurs obsessed fools WUM attempts.

Spurs FA Cup run this year was Tranmere and Palace. Hardly the toughest.
The year before it was Wimbledon, Newport, Rochdale and Swansea (including replays against Newport and Rochdale) before United.
Villa, Wycombe, Fulham, Millwall, Chelsea.
Remember you had Peterborough, Leeds, Bolton, Fulham, Portsmouth, Cardiff to win it. But lost against Posrtsmouth in the semi.

The fact is that easy cup runs come about because the other big boys flop in easy games or they come up against each other. Arsenal, Chelsea and United ended up together before United lost to Wolves. Liverpool and Spurs, though, went out early doors. You can't blame City for that.

Just saying it’s an incredibly easy cup run, you can’t deny that.

It was easy, but Rotherham/Burnley is no easier than Tranmere/Palace.
If you had beaten Palace maybe you would had played City instead of one of the other easy draws they got.

You keep mentioning Tranmere and Palace, but I’m talking about a whole cup run here. To go through a whole cup and not play a single top 6 side is incredibly fortunate. All I am saying is they have had easy runs in both cups, but as soon as they played us in the CL over 2 legs, they got knocked out.

Tranmere and Palace was your whole cup run.

How can City draw against big sides when the big sides are going out early?
Okay, they got a bit lucky that Arsenal and then Chelsea drew United, then United lost to the 7th best side. But it is not their fault a Wolves side that would have given them a game bottled the semi final.

True, but let’s be honest we got bigger fish to fry like a small thing called the CL final so the FA cup is nothing compared to that mate. My point is, City have got the most easiest FA cup route in history

Spurs in 2011 was arguably easier. You just failed to beat Portsmouth in a gimmie semi final.

What relevance has that got to do with it? That was ages ago and a completely different Spurs side. Nothing can hide the fact that both of City’s cup wine have come from incredibly fortunate cup runs and when they did play a tough team in Europe, they got knocked out

You understand "history" encompasses "ages ago"

posted on 19/5/19

But you are bringing up a cup run from 2011, ridiculous mate. We are talking about this season and talking about City’s 2 incredibly easy cup routes to win both domestic trophies

The title of the article is "easiest FA Cup run in history", your previous comment said "My point is, City have got the most easiest FA cup route in history" yet bringing up a cup run from 8 years ago is ridiculous?

But we didn’t win the cup in 2011 ffs so it has no relevance whatsoever. If Spurs had won the cup with a route similar to City’s, then yes I can understand your point. Spurs didn’t win it, so what the hell are you on about ? City have had the easiest Fa cup run in history, end of story.

posted on 19/5/19

D’jeezus, let me spell this out for you because you are clearly finding it hard to grasp. City’s cup run means the run they had to win the thing. We are not talking about Spurs in 2011 that got us to the semi final, what the f** relevance does that have? When we didn’t win it anyway

posted on 19/5/19

How does it have no relevance? It is still a "FA Cup run" and is still easier than City's this season.

Don, who is bringing up a cup run in 2011? FFS that is years back. WTF has 2011 got to do with now?

Sandy, another who doesn't understand the word "history"
