Spurs are the one side who can run as far and as long as us.
Spurs can defend really well
Spurs have goals in them
Anyone who thinks this will be easy or a whitewash think again.
for me the one unknown is how spurs will react to the big day.
Theres a mix of players there but as a group they've not experienced the final and the pageantry etc before.
We have and know who horrible losing is
Players like lloris have big big experience. But as a group i don't know who all of the spurs players will react, it only takes a few to freeze.
Looking at it....
Lloris - no excuses
Trippier. World cup sf. but a lot to prove
LB: not sure who will play. variable experience here
Alderweireld - big and ugly enough
Vartonghen - vital player but... i wonder
Sissoko - big big game this.. big could be a monstor could make an error
CM - who will it be?
Erikson - vital player - i can't see him freezing
Alli - could do anything.
Kane - unift surely but lets see.
Son - must play has had moments both ways

so... 1961 doesn't matter.
2005 doesn't matter for us.
BUT 2018 matters cos we have the experience in 90% of team. Alisson and fabinho are our players who won't have it.

Llorente - 1 world cup , 1 European cup , 1 Europa league, 3 Italian league medals . He has been instrumental in us reaching the cl finals . His experience could be vital.
It's a one off game between 2 teams who deserve to be there and have every right to think they are capable of beating each other. Both will be thinking that this is probably going to be their best chance to win it.
Facts of league performance are irrelevant in Europe really and both have earned their right to play in the final, it's anyone's game. It will be a very close game, doesn't matter who starts for either side. It will be tense, it will be nervy and it will be difficult. I think Liverpool have enough to win it 2-1, but it could honestly go either way.

That LFC have advanced spectacularly over the past two seasons is beyond doubt. Also beyond doubt is the cost of getting there. Thanks to Barca having their leg lifted over Couts, the overall net spending is relatively minimal.
Spurs on the other hand have taken the massive step in building one of the best football stadiums the planet will see for many years. Of greater credit it must be said is that they have maintained and improved a fantastic squad of players with little or no money spent. In many ways that is an even greater achievement than we have enjoyed, an achievement due to the skills of Poch.
For the first time ever I will watch a CL final where I don't want to see either of the teams lose. I know it sound silly if not stupid, but this should be a cracking game for all supporters, committed of neutral.
Let's have it.

Yeah pressure all on Liverpool but I think they have this in the bag. This is probably the greatest Liverpool team in a long time and they have the expierience of playing in 3 finals and going to the wire in the league. This will be Spurs first final in a long time and I am afraid the occasion will get to them. Most important games Spurs have started badly by conceding early goal and I think this will be their undoing as Liverpool has one of the best defenses.
