I am strangely more confident of beating Liverpool than I was of beating Ajax. Both teams would have had three weeks off, and the pressure will be on Liverpool. It is a one off match. League form will not come into it. Spurs should be as near as possible back to full strength for the first time in months, will make a big difference.

No I seriously did fear Ajax, although I still expected us to go through, but at 3-0 down with 25 minutes if the tie left, I doubt you would have found a footie fan in world football that did not think Ajax would not be in the final.

Sandy timeline
We're gonna win the PL and CL as we have the best squad and the best manager.
Manager has to go as he keeps changing the team and we have no chance of winning the league.
We're gonna win the CL.
We have no chance of winning the CL as we are facing the best team left in it who will go on to win it.

Honestly assessing the OPs team, Spurs look very strong in the two CB positions and the front four looks good too.
The fullbacks and midfielders is where they look a bit weak and they will need to strengthen those positions this summer. Big job, and that's assuming there are no major departures that will need replacing.
