bricking it ! and there's still 10 days to go

3 weeks is such a long time between games.

I very much doubt both teams are going to be fully up to speed and add in the heat I think it’ll be a slower game than normal.

Well no. I'd happily have a 2-0 lead at half time. It's extremely rare to see this scoreline turned around.

This 3 week wait is ridiculous. Other team (not in Europe finals) are already in there 2nd week of holidays. That match sharpness the players had will be gone. Only benefit is that it is the same for both teams.

Nice, Trent should be made a Knight for his exploits

3 weeks benefits Spurs a lot more. Giving key players time for recovery from injuries. Verts and Kane appreciate this length of time, I bet

Liverpool in training camp and have scheduled behind door friendlies I believe.

Contrasting wau of preparing for CL finals though:

Liverpool are already in Spain, Marbella and sunnying it.

Meanwhile, Spurs are somewhere in London, breathing that lovely smog and enjoying the grey and rainy weather

Kane wont be match fit. Nothing like it. It will be nearly 8 weeks since he played last. Same for Winks too. Not sure either should be risked from the start, and def. not both.

Vertonghen will benefit fro the recovery time and only missed the last game so no more lengthy break than the other players

No doubt we'll be doing some warm up macthes vs the U23s or something but it aint the same

yeah but the dates are set before you know who is and isn't in the final

to have the final this weekend would give the appearance of benefiting the English team with a longer break and more time to prepare

this way it's a little fairer and also means that with it being the grand stand finale... UEFA make a bit more of a killing wonga-wise
