You could probably buy the scottish league for £600k to be fair.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Where have you been these last decades?
Amazing stuff. Insightful. Extraordinary insight.
You're just amazing.
Madrid will be desperate to off load him and his wages.
If Bale sits tight it will likley force RM to pay him off to make hi leave. He reportedly gets £15m a year. 3 years left, he can expect £45m.
If he negotiated a £25m settlement then he could join somewhere at £10m a year (£200k a week) and still be better off.
he'll never go for free because there'd be so many takers the price would be driven up. But he could go for a fraction of his then world record fee.

Why does he have to have wages near what he has now? he hasnt earnt them, if he wants to play 200/300k a week should be enough
--------------------
Exactly...
No way on earth should we going for Bale. 600k a week if that's true is bonkers. Wouldn't even take him for 400k a week and Madrid paying rest. He's injury prone and not the player he was.
Think Real Madrid will really struggle to get rid of him.
Fair play if they do, it'l be a monkey off their back.
I really can’t see where he’ll go. Madrid have handled this badly and made a rod for their own back. They are in a poor negotiation position here. If he leaves, I suspect that they will have to take a major hit.
He’s got no future at Real Madrid , i think he’s finished there , he doesn’t feature in Zidane’s plans , they are looking to offload him , hence him going on a free is making the rounds , his package of around £600k a week.........well , that’s the real issue...
who can come close to paying that weekly wage .?

That’s what I mean by making a rod for their own back. They might even have to pay part of his wages to be able to offload him.

I'd take him on a 2 year loan with no fee and 50% contribution to his wage.
We’ll make all the money back in shirt sales.
no no no-his salary alone would cause disharmony+he is now 30 +he is injury prone+where would his motivation be?
like an old girlfriend-once you have sha gged, never go back
