Yes they are but that doesn't mean players who know they are in demand will chose them when they know if they bide their time they can go to clubs in better situations. Pogba likely felt he had a point to prove at United so it's a different situation.
I don't think we'll get him either but to say we definitely can't is as stupid as saying he's a nailed on signing.

Reaal have already signed a CB and Bayern are unlikely to spend another huge fee after signing Hernandez and reportedly being in for Sane.
Plus, we shouldn't forget that United were regulalrly challenging for league titles and European cups when the current crop of players were kids. Those memories play a part in the decision making process.
He's still only 19 so while Barca are clearly a bigger pull right now he's in no rush and maybe the financial element of any deal we can offer can sway his decision, who knows?
He could still potentially move to United, have 3-4 seasons and be only 23 by the time he wants to move on.

Not a chance Liverpool will win the league. I'd put the chances of Spurs higher than Liverpool's.
They have the better 1st team. Better squad. The better manager, by a mile.
