I much prefer Atletico as a club.

Real fans always look like they would bore the t1ts of a statue whereas Atletico make a racket and enjoy a bit of gallows humour.

Disagree mate. We are 3 maybe 4 good signings off winnng the league, the job is far from done - there’s much unfinished business.

Spurs fans these last few weeks have been saying stuff like ‘win the CL and lose Poch, or lose the CL and keep Poch..’ Why should we have to choose? Why do we have to have this loser mentality that if we get one bit of success there has to be a trade off that sets us back again? It’s a small club mentality. If the club wants to be a big club then we all have to start thinking like a big club, yes the board but the fans too.

All of our pieces are in place; world class training facilities, quality players, one of the most admired coaches in Europe, incredible new stadium, we are CL finalists. There’s no reason now that we should be laying back and accepting negativity and set backs. We should be aiming to win the CL final then providing Poch with the quality in depth to make a serious title challenge in the new stadium next season.

Spurs fans like Sizz regurgitating unsubstantiated press sensationalism like this article as being gospel doesn’t help.

my mother and her family are from Anfield
I was raised in Liverpool
My grandfather, Mum and Uncles are Everton fans

My father is Spanish...he and my brothers are Atleti fans

As a kid one of my Spanish uncles ( a Real Madrid fan) took me to a match in the Bernabeu, I became hooked on R Madrid ever since

I have a stronger connection to Liverpool FC than 99% of the LFC fans on this site

My grandfather's family were Irish immigrants who settled on Scotland Road in Liverpool, 10 siblings !
5 boys, 5 girls
The boys were split between Everton and Liverpool (as was often the case in those days). My granddad was for Everton !

in the late 70s and early 80s I used to go to the Liverpool supporters club kids Xmas do, every year..as it was better than the everton one, and met all the greats from liverpools golden era.. my granddad could always get me tickets ..as he was friends with Joe Fagan (who lived until his death close to my grandparents in Anfield).
I met Joe Fagan many times with my granddad in those days

but i still dislike LFC

To be fair that whole debate started because Pochettino said that thing about winning the Champions League being the end of the chapter at Spurs, which was (understandably) interpreted as him saying he'd be off if Spurs win next week.

He's an ambitious manager, and even if the thing about Madrid being his dream, is bollox in that story, the point about wanting some reinforcements is very clear. He's not going to take any more of Levy's procrastination.
