Yeah cause Rashford and Martial were brilliant weren't they!! This is obviously assuming we don't sign a number 9, after that shambles at the end of the season, very few deserve a starting place next season
I'm not as concerned about where he plays as I am about his attitude. I want to see a different player in terms of commitment on the pitch next season, or he can do one.
All that aside and giving him the benefit of the whole heap of doubt for a moment, his best position is still for me as the left sided forward of a three.
I'd be happy to see Greenwood off the right, Rashford through the middle and Martial off the left on opening day.
The whole Jose factor clouded the issue with martial with the player getting a free pass from fans so to speak in light of what appeared to be unfair treatment from the moany one.

People didn’t want him to have any competition but if anything it’s made him worse. When him and Rashford were rotating on the left it worked quite well.
Dont mind trying him at 9 as long as he doeant have to change his shirt number. He apparently had a right strop last time that happened.

His treatment of martial was one of my issues with Jose that's for sure
I know, but the point is that treatment wasn’t how you made it out to be. You’ve said it yourself, the Mourinho issue clouded judgement and he got a free pass from a lot of the fans. You are as guilty as anyone of that. Now he doesn’t have Mourinho to hide behind, and he’s got worse, and displayed many of the same problems Mourinho and others complained about, surely you need to re-evaluate how he was managed before and the reasons for it?
Martial hasnt helped himself that's for sure.
This season for me is his last chance to fulfill his potential otherwise I'd flog him.
One of the good things about Ole being coach is that he’ll get far more backing from the fans over players. So a fan fave like Martial hasn’t got any excuses anymore. Hopefully he can buck his ideas up and start to perform regularly like we know he can. I have my doubts, but willing to give him a chance.
