Pakistan only chance of making to semis is Pakistan winning all their remainder and England losing another 2. Do not forsee Nzl and India losing 3 or even Australia losing 2 ( Aus has already paid India).Pakistan can only make it at behest of England.
I will attribute this poor start to bad selection like not picking Haris which was amply demonstrated today.

Afghans have a good record against Bangladesh and they are playing at Hampshire where the wicket is dying. This could be a good low scoring affair.

Need Bangladesh to win to apply some pressure on England.

Bangladesh will win...they have had 2 back to back good games (although they lost against Aus).

Afghanistan are full of passion but they are still learning and will find it difficult to win a game in this WC.

By the way weather looks good for India Vs West Indies (Manchester) and India Vs England (Bham).

Harsh JT. Bangladesh have done better than England in last two ICC 50 overs competitions. Win today and they are right up England.

They got hammered by India, just like the WC 2015 which was even worse. That India team was horrendous.

Yes, I know England got to the semis of CT and were awful, but we were truly ashamed of that performance.

Considering England's resource and history, we have an awful record in ODI cricket. Yes we're now number 1 but we're half way through the group phase in this tournament and we've gone from being favourites to will we make it out of the group.

Bangladesh may not be as good as the top sides but they're better than garbage ffs.

Yes Afghanistan are the worst team in the tournament but again, garbage is a ridiculous term to use for them after running India so close on Saturday.

I know it's harsh, but I've been hearing this about Bangladesh since 1999, stepping stones, breakthroughs, baby steps, I'm fed up to be honest. They never deserved Test Status in my opinion.

What I hate more is the attitude after losing, they seem to celebrate it.

We have our own issues, absolutely. I have complained a lot about our ODI cricket in the past, but this is about these 2 teams. Not a good advert for the game if teams are just happy to get respect.

Usually support England if paks not playing, but given that England need to lose for paks to even have a chance to go further, can’t even do that

Ps - usually have a soft spot for West Indies but it appears their whole existence of this World Cup was to destroy Pakistan’s NRR. Will never forgive them for that especially after they bottled it in winning positions vs Aus and NZ
