JT, missed out on Duleep Mendis, he was their best player in their early period in intl cricket.

It was really poignant to see windies all time XI.
They produced plethora of outstanding players from 60's to 90's but they have been in doldrums in last 2 decades. Weekes, Griffith, Croft, Roberts, Kallicharan, Clive Loyld, Frank Worrel and Walcott are legends yet they did not made in any of ours ALL TIME.

This was a test team. Odi obviously cook and Vaughan would be nowhere near it!

So much so, even Ive taken up playing Sunday league cricket again after a 14yr break.

England have great cricket infrastructure and coaching, they lacking in grass root talent and thats because most kids are not interested in cricket.

People care more about relegation dogfight matches in football than important cricket matches

All I ever hear in the Summer is:
Only X number of days until the football season starts

This World Cup win will get people interested for about a month until the Charity/Community Shield opener
