Did think to do this Wicklow, so well done
I had a great time on Monday, around central London, Wembley, making Villa fwends on the tube, getting photos with them, drinking at Covent Garden, going up a mountain of escalators to get to our seat.
It seems that we have sort of withdrawn into a state of reflection and solitude. That's not the mood at all around Derby and I think most are quietly happy with how things are panning out.
When we were surprised to make it to the play offs in the last few weeks of the season a Wembley trip was a bonus. We could have won had we had the rub of the green but these matches are usually decided by small margins.
We have a decent manager, a decent style of playing, promising youngsters coming through and we wont be on the losing side most weekends. What is there to be sad about?
Plus I saw Spart near Covent Garden

Hello
----------------------------------------------------------------------
You're not a Derby fan are you?
Thanks, Wickers.
Can't feel too down about a season of over achievement, even though Monday wasn't the greatest experience in the world. We were there though and that's what counts in the longrun. With a second year under our management team, I think we can do a Norwich next season.
Another exciting one in the most competitive league in the world. What's not to look forward to ?
Leave him be View, he has an emotional weekend ahead of him, not really important stuff like we’re used to but important in his world. Anyway glad you’re OK
'Another exciting one in the most competitive league in the world. What's not to look forward to ?'
I'll answer my own question:
Games against Norwich & Ipswich, that's what !
Look at least MON is not our manager, at least be cheery about that! Franks tactics on Monday can be questioned but they weren’t random, he had a plan in mind. I’m sure he’ll analyze the result an learn from it. He also seems to motivate the players, their intensity over the last few week has increased at the end of matches rather than the opposite. Work to do alright but I’m pretty positive
Not negative at all - its the start of the grilse season so priorities change.
Much to look forward to - Predictions final table; confirmation from Frank and then transfers and loans etc. And so to August.........
All is well
Next priority is walking 140 from Oviedo to Lugo in 7 days.
Go read my boxing article on the boxing board (return of the Nat) honestly anyone that follows boxing keep an ear and eye out for this guy
Would that be a cauliflower ear and a black eye open?

Will we get the Prediction Table before the new season?
A little animation about our much loved former manager.
Stevie McClaren, so bad we sacked him twice.

I’m not too down about Monday at all. It’s been a great season. I’d quite like a statement soon to reassure us about Lampard and then I’ll start getting into full transfer speculation mode for next season.
I was actually ok Monday but have slowly gone into what if mode since, think I need to watch it again as I was in so many modes during it.
Would be disappointed if Frank and Jody ditched us now and I'm being serious would not wish him well if he jumped ship to Chelsea.
He knows the history of what we've been through as a club over the recent seasons especially regarding loyalty, if he doesn't honour his contract all the speech play can sail on the wind for all I care.
Let’s face it, the Chelsea job will come up many times over the next few years so Lampard has no need to snatch at the opportunity for fear it might not come again. David Luiz has played under seven different Chelsea managers, can you believe?
And he's still shîïte, bet he doesn't want Frank.

Bob Mortimer's a nutter.
What ifs, a few that still cause me heart ache.
What if we had scored against Swindon in 1969 and set up a unique double.
What if Hinton hadn't missed that penalty against Juve
What if Sam Longson had a brain
What if Charlie George hadn't dislocated his shoulder
What if the ref hadn't sent Lee off in that game
What if Tommy Docherty had said he didn't want the job
What if Arthur Cox didn't have a bad back
What if we had a decent ref in the 1994 play off final
What if we hadn't signed rubbish in Jim Smiths later period.
What if we had defended our lead at Blackburn
What if Claude Davies had never been born
What if McClaren had put on Bamford instead of Dawkins
What if Keogh had just booted the ball up the pitch at Wembley
What if McClaren had signed some decent players in 2015
What if we had rested Thorne against Ipswich
What if Bogle had passed to Waghorn instead of choosing to shoot.

Is there anybody out there?
