Chatted to a few scousers

Blokes I’m talking to now have been ripped off sadly,got 3 tickets offered to them via the club because they’re season ticket holders but only took one because they had let a mate who is minted book via a travel company he uses often.

He paid £40,000 for 8 tickets and flights but the travel company have informed them the third party ain’t come thru with the tickets for the match

I’ve been a Spurs fan since the 1970s. We have had some great teams and great players over the years and we’ve had some fantastic moments; UEFA cup victory numerous FA cups, but tonight will trump the lot if we win!

All I want is for the players to play well. If we win, absolutely fantastic, if we lose (having given it a real go) I’ll still be proud and happy.

Well boys I'm having a fackin nightmare as I'm currently on a cruise ship off the coast of Albania on our way to Montenegro, and obviously this was booked over a year ago for my parents 50th wedding anniversary so i couldn't get out of going.

The ship wont be showing the game because they say the license is to expensive (£500,000k).

The ships wifi is snails pace so I cant stream the live feed either.

So to summarise, the team I've supported since 1981 has by some miraculous set of circumstances have managed to qualify for the biggest game in club football
and I'M GOING TO MISS IS IT

So win or lose at least you'll all get to see the game, I'm borderline heartbroken.

My cunning plan is to get absolutely smashed today then hide in my cabin at kickoff time so I don't get to hear the result, I'll then log into 4g in Montenegro when we dock at 5am tomorrow morning and watch the game from my sky q box as though it's live.

You couldn't make it up.


So I hope you all enjoy the game tonight and we give a great performance and have no regrets whatever the result .

Looks like the Spanish police have already started with the heavy handed tactics after setting up on the spurs fans last night, including a man carrying his child.

Winning the Champions League gives you such a high that so much alcohol is not required. Was my experience from 2005 anyhow.
