Blackman, Butterfield and BJ staying too.

Bryson still in negotiation.

Let’s get the flags out...

Can't believe we are letting Ambrose go. Absolute legend.

Timi. What happened ?

Blackman and butter field staying. Surely that is a joke.

They are on VASTLY reduced terms, Spart. To try and protect their value. They’ll never play again...

First-team squad players under contract: Scott Carson, Andre Wisdom, Craig Forsyth, Richard Keogh, Martyn Waghorn, Tom Lawrence, Florian Jozefzoon, Jack Marriott, Bradley Johnson, George Evans, Jacob Butterfield, Chris Martin, Mason Bennett, Kelle Roos, Nick Blackman, Duane Holmes, Max Lowe, Ikechi Anya, Curtis Davies, George Thorne, Jonathan Mitchell, Jayden Bogle, Luke Thomas, Max Bird, Tom Huddlestone, Scott Malone.

First-team squad players in discussion over new terms: Craig Bryson.

First-team squad players not currently offered new terms: Efe Ambrose, Alex Pearce, Ashley Cole, David Nugent, Marcus Olsson.

Blackman and Butterfield were given peculiar contract extensions to "preserve their value" for FFP purposes and will now be released. I'm sure someone understands how this works. Probably it's to do with the third law of thermodynamics.

But Bogle may go to Brighton for £10m

I wouldn’t lose any sleep over that. Still learning his trade, has to be done.

SO many goals came from crosses from his side.

And let’s not mention Wembley when he was ball watching and on his heels

I don’t dislike him but has to be done IMO

There's a third law What was wrong with the first two?

However, looking at the positives...

'With nine assists, Bogle stands out as Derby’s most creative player in all competitions this season, with nobody recording more throughout the campaign. He has also completed the most successful tackles (110) and the most successful dribbles (55), while his number of assists also makes him the most creative teenager in the division this season.'

With his potential, £10m would be a rock bottom price.

I can complete a successful dribble in my sleep.

In my experience, you don't even need to be asleep

Agreed, (helps though).

I agree he’s good player and talent, Ang. Arguably a better winger (his natural position as you know).

Defensively still very naive IMO. Yes he can improve, he’s too small though, for one.

Wing backs seem all the rage at fetch the big £££ .

Good luck to the lad.

Ps Funny how those ‘stats’, whilst impressive reading, only mention the positives.

How many headers does he win, how many times does he get muscled off the ball, players easing past him and getting their cross in?

We have have conceded more goals from crosses than any other team in the division

Not really, they were from the dcfc website

Be interesting to know the proportion that came in from the left

Too small for a full back? None of the four full backs in the Champions League final are taller than Bogle. He is 5’ 10”, same as Robertson and Trippier, and taller than Alexander-Arnold and Rose.

Well maybe he’s not physically strong enough then, at 18. Maybe the Championship (arguably the toughest and most physical league in the world) is a different kind of game to a Champions League final.

Just a thought.

Listen he’s a super player, loved having him and I wish him all the best I just think we should cash in and reinvest...

Seriously a new contract for Roos.

Bet he'd catch that if his agent threw it up in the air.

Wimp.

rather have carson.his distribution is sometimes of but his goal stopping is better than roos who I have seen fumble the ball when its come at him at least 5 times then add Wembley to that.carson should have started in games before Wembley to help him get match fit and in the final.for me he should be no1

It was only last season we were calling for Carson to be in the England squad
A far better keeper than Roos IMO

I'm presuming he's on a high wage and being forced out

Surely we have to build a new side now? Bogle should be the start. We need to keep him. And - with Roos, Holmes, Marriott, Waggy, Lawrence we are pretty well on our way.

Bush. He is just as good as Roos but getting on a bit. Roos has more future in him.

I dont think he's anywhere near as good as Carson and 33 is not that old for a GK and not a position we should be having to worry about strengthening in the next couple of years IMO
