2. Phil Jones is simply not going
3. Wan Bassaka will be more than 40m
4. Declan Rice will be a lot more than 40-50m
5. You’re looking at 70m for Maguire

lukaku - 50-65m - could easily go
pogba - 100+ - if a bid big enough comes in
herrera - free - already gone
jones - 10-15m - how many cb's do we need
matic - 15-20m - does not fit ole's system
rojo - 10-15m - may be kept because of his diversity
mata - free - looks to be going
maybe not all going in one window but you could argue that they all could leave over the next window or 2, just in which order is the question
we need to go back to fergie blueprint regarding signing players. i would be happy with unknown or pl players rather than sign big players from big teams. one of the reasons why we were so successful during the 90s

Tbf, we broke the British transfer record a few times under SAF but I know what you meam, Klopp has been doing this at Liverpool.
Huge money on players he believed would be sure to succeed, VVD is a bit like us signing Stam back in the day. He’s sprinkled around some shrewd signings like Firmino, Robertson, even Salah was a bit left field after his time at Chelsea. Then you have an academy player in TAA.
This is why it annoys me when you hear pundits on TV and radio saying things like “United HAVE to spend £300 million to back to the top”. Your signings can come from anywhere and cost anything as long as they’ve been scouted properly and fit into your system.
