Glad that you had a good trip Chronic, but the game itself was absolute dross. I would have been totally peeeed off spending lots of money and time to go out there and see that served up.

Both teams were awful, championship teams would have served up a better final. Liverpool scored in the first minute, then were pretty well non existent until their second goal. Their much vaunted front three were so poor, I did not even notice they were playing. Ours were poor as well.

Anyway hopefully Spurs will play better next season in Istanbul.

A lot of people gave it all the "2nd is nowhere" after the final vs Nadrid but the reality is it made us A LOT of money and like it or loath it thats important in todays game.

It has potential to really help Spurs and I think it did us from experience to moola.

I reckon they'll be at least £100m spent by Spurs but there are some good free agents about. I think Rabiot would be a massive upgrade for your midfield.

Think that may have been over egged a bit. I read he was just p!ssed off that there were quite few players on more money who wouldn't put in half the work.

I like him as a player though and skill set wise I think he's a great fit for Spurs. A very good Dier imo.

As a neutral I don't think it was the best game. However, the 3 week break and the heat could have contributed to that.

I though Liverpool's performance was pretty Mourinho-esque to be honest. Happy to let Spurs have the ball after the goal knowing they had a good defence/keeper and a threat up front. Spurs really needed one of those half chances to be struck well but it wasn't to be.

I didn't find it a big issue. We were at the fan zone at 10:30 am. Wondered around the area for a bit then bought loads of tickets.

We were mainly drinking in the tent next to where Chirpy was. Had no issues getting to the bar even though it was heaving. Only issues was when they were changing the barrels which was quite often!

Yeah queue for the drinks was a joke

We had to double or treble up when we were ordering. I was pretty pisssed by the time the game started. There were so few staff working there though and 5 euros for less than a pint was steep

The fan park was a great laugh though

I rewatched the game, Spurs had most of the possession both teams were not great and pretty poor quality of football being played lets be fair. Liverpool defended fairly well and controlled the spaces etc which contributed to Spurs having to go back all the time.

Liverpool had the better chances and opened up Spurs a lot easier for the majority of the game albeit on the counter and mainly long balls, Salah and Mane got in behind a fair few times Origi came on and although he facked up every pass if he had made them or Salah/mane had controlled the ball better theyd have had the best chances of the game.

Spurs at what 72 mins to 86? Spurs had a flurry of efforts on target which inflated the shot stats. Pretty much all of them were half chances not really hit with enough power or w.e making them routine saves you'd expect a quality GK like Alisson to make. Then Origi goal came and that was that he took it well tbf.

Spurs the better team? if having the majority of possession is the better team then sure, i dont think they defended better, they didnt have the better chances and certainly didnt take their chances. Overall a poor game which Spurs had the majority of the ball but other than a 15 minute spell at the end certainly didnt "deserve" more.

Well some seem to be upset cause of it and yes you were the ones on the front foot but its clear to why that was, doesnt necessarily make you the better team cause you had the better stats.

Like your manager said post match he'd look stupid if he talked about his dominate possession or had more shots on target because he believes the final is about winning not about who deserves what or who plays better.

Still didnt stop the likes of Morespurs.
