Thought the basis of the article was fine - it was good to have proper, tribal, action packed football back! And it was amusing what happened with Souness in the studio.

I went off for a bit, came back and it was gone - can only assume some of the comments got out of hand. Unfortunately this forum has gone the way of most media; it’s no longer acceptable to make the slightest joke that might be perceived to be sexist, anti trans, taking the Mickey out of gender politics etc no matter how tongue in cheek it is. Souness was pulled up immediately, my article was removed pretty quickly. It’s censorship on every level, you certainly can’t get away with anything on Ja anymore.

Don't think it's that controversial tbh. Fans will grumble at decisions that don't go their way but at worst all the "wrong" calls were marginal. I think he did fine tbh, except maybe the hair pull which I was very surprised wasn't punished, but that's a VAR thing isn't it

Yeah, I don't think you can really criticise him for not spotting it in real time. It's a pretty niche thing for Romero to have done, and easily missed in a box full of argy bargy

I had assumed there'd be some kind of offence that VAR could have picked it up on, but judging by Ace's post, maybe not
