Dele really piiissing his career away. Gone the way of what's his name, the United academy prospect.

Ravel Morrison

I think Dele's an interesting case study in that he made it. It's not like he had a bad attitude that stopped him reaching peak levels. He was there. His career maps more like some of the South Americans from super poor backgrounds who get their big money deal and basically retire.

I think people overlook the fact that his skillset is really specialist and isn’t a role that a lot of football teams look to have.

Basically he suits a team who presses high, keeps possession and has space for an attacking player who isn’t used for 1v1 dribbling.

Yes Ravel Morrison. Dele at least reached the high heights for a bit, whereas Ravel never did. Although maybe if Dele was at a bigger club to begin with and earning more money then maybe he'd have taken his eye off the ball sooner, who knows.

Just a waste of a career, and he'll never get back to his best I'm sure about that.

While that's true I see it as a weakness as much as an excuse. He had all the talent and physicality and resources to adapt and improve his game so that he's not so one-dimensional. He could've worked on his passing or set pieces.. if the injury affected his ability going forward, work on being a more useful number 8..

It's tough to get away from the mental aspect with Dele. Mourinho called it out.. I wonder if he would've been a casualty of Poch's famed 'difficult rebuild' or whatever it was he said.

Wolves, Forrest, WHU & City are the games he’s likely to miss

Fulham too. Hopefully he is back for Leicester

Only the City one is a real worry IMO. Haaland or Foden vs Sanchez
