I'm just glad we have recognised that he has been a bit of a weak link. So much for all those "he's one of Poch's favourites" theories.

Big chance for Foyth now to cement his place in the first XI.

I hope not Sandy. We've still got two RBs in the squad.

Foyth is a very talented player, and is the future. He plays right back for Argentina now.

A lot of talk about Foyth but this is really Aurier's opportunity if he can stay fit. I'm hoping with a run of games that he goes through a Sissoko like change

Good to see Poch addressing the obvious weak links in the side. Replacement for Dembele was a must, and now the weak link at the back Trippier out of the door.

I like Aurier as well, but he is always injured. So I suspect Foyth will be Poch`s preferred starter.

He is Argentina's right back by default. They've got nobody there unless Zabaleta or Zanetti find the fountain of youth

Sandy, I watch Foyth (and Lo Celso) in two of those Copa A games.
Foyth was one point above Sheit and
Lo Celso one point below it.
I have to say, and I hate to say this, but if we play Foyth at RB it will not be long before you yourself will be wishing to have Trippier back! YUP, he's that bad, but in a different way!

Toby played RB for Belgium. I know he can play there but he isn't quick or mobile enough. Poch can do what he likes, but Juan Walker-Peters he ain't.

Ted, you obviously didn`t watch the games where Foyth played very well. He is very talented, and has a big, big future. Foyth is light years ahead of Trippier as a player, and his what just 21 years old. Absolute top player in the making, no matter what you say.

I watched the game against Brazil. He's bang average at RB.

Yes he may be the future, but the present he is not!
Too inexperienced and prone to idiotic decisions in and around the penalty area.
Wait & see..... if Foyth plays you will eat your words!

Definitely hoping one of Walker-Peters or Aurier steps up in a big way this season. Or that Spurs buy Semedo. Foyth would be the worst of those 4 options as far as I'm concerned.

Order of preference

1. Sign a new RB
2. Try sissoko there
3. KWP
4. Aurier
5. Foyth

KWP i don't rate that highly. Aurier i think is best option if fit because he's got the power and energy to run the flanks. Foyth for me is a makeshift RB.

Unless its another English RB then i struggle to see us letting KWP go on loan and us bringing someone else new.
