I remember being impressed with the West Brom RB on the opening day
Dunno if that was him or not

Just looked and it was
Watched mk v spurs u15 yesterday.
Great to see a spurs team win and even better go see a winks clone playing CM

Can't wait for Lo Celso and Sessegnon to start playing weekly for us. Fresh faces and energy - top four is there for the taking. Whoever gets their act together will see themselves comfortably play CL next season

was just speaking to a guy in the office
the standard in the league is either so so poor
or
so so high that no one can break away from anyone
aside from the obvious 2 at the top (maybe even Chelsea looking consistent, the rest is just a throw of the dice
it's pretty much continued from last season where no one seemed to want top 4

If you were gonna bet on top 4 at the moment you’d have to say
Liverpool
City
Leicester
Chelsea
In that order. No Europe is a huge advantage for Leicester. Chelsea are at least winning the games they should win, if not pulling up any trees, unlike us who have taken 1 point from Newcastle, Brighton and Watford fixtures.

Can we call in on that special relationship with Madrid and swap Eriksen and Rose for Isco and Mariano Diaz

Especially this early in the season. It hits home more when you play the best teams while rivals have their turn for the supposedly easy games and take the points. That’s when you look at the table on Monday morning and realise you didn’t do enough when you had the chance and now you’re paying the price. We’re 7th now, but in a few weeks I expect us to be bottom half of the table. The crapness of those results hasn’t been fully hammered home yet, but they will be.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
exactly which is why the comments stating that we're still in a decent league position don't really paint the full picture

100%
Leicester game we were somewhat unlucky but completely threw the game predictably after the 2nd goal was ruled out.
1 point from Newcastle, Brighton and Watford, good christ thats unacceptable. 9 even 6 points from them and we are sitting 3rd.

Paul Merson told The Debate: "Manchester United need to go and break the bank because they need a goalscorer. For me, he's one of the best around and he's proven.
"Manchester United don't need to go out and buy someone who might be good in two years. They need someone to come in and hit the ground running with 25 goals next season.
"He'd be moving to the biggest club in the world. Even if they spent £120m, you know you're buying goals and you wouldn't be sweating. He'll get you 25 goals a season without you sweating. Can you imagine a top player like that not winning a tap in his career?"
