DM. Tanganga showed enough last night that he can probably hold the RB position down till summer, and then he can move back to CB for next season after Spurs buy a proper RB in the summer.
Thing is, buying a proper defensive midfielder - one with good positional discipline, physical presence, energy and a decent range of passing - would free up so many other players in the team. Ndombele, Lo Celso, Lamela, Alli, even Winks would all benefit hugely from having some proper protection behind them.

Totally agree. I'd also go DM and we would have Davies coming back to sure up LB who I think is solid enough.
Just posted this re Winks on another article and how he would benefit with a better player around him. Don't know why Sandy is writing him off and championship level player
on't get the Winks hate. I think he is quality and I swear some of you are watching different games to me. He tries to pass forwards all the time but usually has to go sideways or backwards because there is nothing on and fack all movement around him. He made loads of passes forward yesterday but some fans just seem to ignore these!?

Looks like he's tall-ish, quite rangy, more of a link-up striker than a poacher, seemed to drop deep quite often. Looks to be relatively well-rounded to be honest. Left-footed, seems to be decent with his head, some of the goals he scored were really good finishes but obviously he's never been prolific so who knows.
