need a RWB, CB, CM and ST, so our only target is none of the above

the narrative that he can play all different roles is just lazy because all he can do is run fast being strong

looks like we want to convert him to a RWB, has he ever played there?

we need creativity and more goals, not another pacey winger

Couldn’t put it better myself. It’s just an odd signing. He’s not even had a very season for wolves, it’s not like he’s on electric form or anything. I just don’t get it.

Chris, shouldn’t we be all over Arthur if he’s available? Remember him being fantastic at Barca.

Seems the ideal CM for conte

I would be keen if the price was good. I loved him at Barca, he was so good to watch. He's very similar to winks in the sense that he's pretty poor defensively and creatively when left to his own devices and we've seen Conte mask a lot of those issues by giving winks very specific and clear instructions on the pitch.

His passing is on another level to winks though isn’t it?

Oh yeah he's better than winks. Just similar in terms of what their strengths and weaknesses are, but Arthur's strengths are obviously much greater

Yea thought so. Haven’t watched him at juve though so going on his Barca especially early Barca form.

He's a much more attacking mid than Winks. More like Iniesta than Xavi, he operates higher on the pitch.

He was decent for Barca, clearly fit their game, but had lots of attitude issues and supposedly wasn't a good trainer and had problems staying trim. That's why they swapped him for Pjanic, who ended up being one of Barca's most pointless ever signings but they were still happy to get rid of Arthur the problem child.

A classy, technical, ball-progressing CM with fitness and attitude issues... We know how much Spurs fans love those
