The Big 6?

I read they were looking at Moreno on a free yesterday, that is a deal that would worry me greatly if i were an Arsenal fan and it came to fruition.

We have seen his game exposed, that he's not good enough to operate in a top 6 PL side. Obviously it's only speculation but that is bottom of the barrel stuff.

Over exaggeration to be honest. Chelsea and Spurs could also struggle next season. Chelsea can't bring anyone in this transfer window and will lose Hazard. I'm not sure how much Spurs can spend with the new stadium. Will they have to sell few players? Man U will obviously spend a lot as they can. I expect Arsenal to finish anywhere between 3rd-6th. Wolves, Leicester and Everton still long way behind.

My view is that out of Arsenal, Chelsea, Utd and Spurs , Arsenal are the most likely to drop out of contention for top 4.

Spurs and Chelsea both have CL football so even if money isn't spent should be able to motivate and keep their better players. Even with Hazard and Erikssen leaving I still think they will have too much for us.

Man Utd will just do their usual and throw money at a problem until it goes away.

With Arsenal I think we could pretty much throw a blanket over most of our team (bar Auba and Laca) throw them in the Thames and it wouldn't make too much difference to results.

Can we improve on 34 year old Kos? Yes, 33 year old Monreal? Yes. Kolasinac? Xhaka? Iwobi? Ozil? Mkhi? etc etc.

Much to do this summer. If the media are right about the 40m warchest then the dark days of George Graham's latter years in the mid 90s could be happening again.

Kroneke combined with too much patience with Wenger has messed us up royally.

I don't think Arsenal's position in the top 6 is under threat, but I agree that improving enough to finish in the top 4 will be difficult.

Even with the slog of Europa League football, Arsenal have shown that they are still able to pick up 60+ points in the league. Teams like Everton, Wolves and Leicester have squads that are on paper not too far away in quality from Arsenal's, and occasionally beat them when they play them. But they drop too many silly points that Arsenal just do not drop, especially at the Emirates, where away teams just seem to have this inferiority complex that gobsmacks me, I really don't know any other reason why Arsenal have such a good home record. Their away record shows they can be got at.
