Best caribbean island...Barbados so far...been to a few
I agree about Costa Rica ... been there 3 times and will be going again. Only time I've seen a Harpy Eagle.
And a Mountain Lion close up ... just lying down by a stream having an after lunch nap. Dunno what it had eaten, but it wasn't me!
Been too many other places to mention, oh yes.. The Great Barrier Reef.

"Basically I want to spend the whole time eating and drinking different things than I'm used to. Don't think I can do that in Barcelona."
Why don't you think Barcelona offers different food and drinks? Is it a cities are all the same thing? I loved Barcelona, there's plenty to see and do, and quality local food 'on most corners'.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Well I've been to about ten different places in Spain and all had the same food and drinks so I don't imagine Barcelona being much different

Papua New Guinea, Solomon Islands, Kiribati, Tuvalu, Fiji, Indonesia, Philippines, Singapore, St Vincent and Grenadines plus many more
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Planning to do a trip to Solomons, Kiribati, Nauru, Tuvalu, Vanuatu etc next year, some of the least visited nations on earth.
So how do we count countries?
Do we count England, Wales, Scotland, N.Ireland?
How about Hong Kong and Macau nowadays?
Some of the Caribbean is iffy as well, St Maarten, BVI, AVI, Curacao

High on my wish list is to see a wild Harpy, seen one caged in Brazil and was mesmerized. Spend a lot of my life chasing birds around the USA.
Gotta say...cruising is the way to go these days...so easy and great value

Maybe South Africa...one day...but otherwise
Nah, i wanna cover a lot of it for the birds more than the usual suspects, Botswana probably number one on my list but will spend at least a month travelling other nations and it might happen here in a couple of months actually, torn between travelling through a chunk of SE Asia or hitting a chunk of Africa but we have to wait til the missus switches jobs.
