We've been spoilt rotten. We've now got to ride it out. We'll be back soon enough.
I think for me personally, it's simply that United's results don't impact my life the way they used to. I remember as a teenager it used to ruin my weekend if United got beat. Now i'd rather they won of course but I don't care a great deal.
it's cliché but it is just a game at the end of the day. Not worth getting angry about.

When reading the comments on the United board, and from United fans in general, it seems we've taken our fall from grace pretty well.

I agree on the most part. There is a general acceptance and self mockery for the most part. You board has always been decent on here though, with the exception of the obvious ones.

Agreed. We have been so fortunate in recent decades that you just have to smile and crack on. I might feel differently if we don't win the title for another 10 years, but at the moment its no big deal.
I'd also say that I am generally less interested in football than I was previously too.

Next season is our season
Nah, genuinely I don't know. Depends on the next 2 summer windows for me (January is a difficult one so won't include it).
I would hope to be back in a title race in 3 years time if this year does become the first year we stop throwing big money at any random galactico with no proper plan in place.
IF that 'strategy' continues, along with getting a different manager with a completely different ethos every couple of years then it will be a lot longer than that unfortunately.

When you've lived through a generation of Liverpool being a cup side, Chelsea being perennial also-rans and City being a non-entity, then you see where they are now you've just gotta accept that we've had it good and that football will always be cyclical.
We are the best supporters in the world tbf
It’s been pretty entertaining which helps, it’s not just a team struggling to cope with the loss of the best ever manager, it’s a string of comedy errors probably summed up by Phil Jones face.
Yeah, I think most of us have taken it well.
I agree that humour is in demise and take partial responsibility for it.
There's been some memories that will last a lifetime still, that's what it's all about. Going to OT and making memories
I'll never forget that game vs Fulham, the day of a thousand crosses.
