Just watched a bit on a Portuguese current affairs panel show about the behaviour of England fans last week.
They were pointing out that the clips on the news only tend to show physical clashes and violence, and don't capture more widely the terrible behaviour of a "large part" of the fans: they mentioned rudeness, drunkenness, intimidation, public urination and unacceptable behaviour towards women.
They basically rubbished the idea that the problem lies with a handful of hooligans and that there is - what is in some ways more serious - a wider cultural problem.

Firstly I did not say "English fans" (do you have a difficulty reading?). I said "them" refering to the imbeciles that follow England and have right wing tendencies (something I have witnessed first hand).
Now put the comment into the correct context and you see it is based on the logic of previous events (eg, Russian hooligans are more prepared, sober and skilled to win any fight between two such groups of hooligans). It did not, however, show any desire or bias for the event to actually happen.
If I said "Donald Trump's presidency will put climate change innovation back 50 years" does that signal that I WANT that to happen, or is it just stating my opinion based on logic?
