SSN reporting that Utd have made a substantial bid for Aaron Wan-Bissaka
-------------------------------
Not ''substantial'' enough.
We shouldn't let him go for anything less than £40mil imo.

Given his age, he’s English, proven in the PL,Palace reluctant to sell, i’d expect £55m minimum. They can point to what City paid for their full backs and demand a similar fee.
I won`t be surprised if we keep our current crop of full backs, even though we could do with upgrades.
Reason being we have other more important areas to deal with first, such as replacements / upgrades for Dembele, Eriksen and Toby, as well as Llorente, Janssen, Vorm and Nkoudou.
That is a lot of ins and outs and hence why I won`t be surprised if upgrading at full back is low down on our list of priorities.

True but can you really see Spurs being a force in the long run? We can be if we get things right.
He looks a talent but had only just really started making a name for himself. Could be just having a good season and then turn into a donkey, it's happened before.

A force with Ole at the wheel?
Who ever he goes to, he will be the best RB in the world without kicking a football for his new side

Right back is a massive problem area for us and should be a priority along with central midfield. Can’t believe we haven’t even been linked to a right back. Would be gutted if we started next season as Trippier and Aurier as our options.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
United will probably sign him and a few other players before Levy has even picked his phone up.

This.
I'm not sure Utd at this time would be the best move for AWB. Poch v Ole? A no-brainer for me.

We ain't signing a RB or a decent CM
Every other team need to rebuild and will offer more money and are easier to negotiate with

If we aren't linked to AWB, why the hell not? If United are going for him, we should too, knowing we have CL to offer and a better manager. We have the money to spend this time.
No excuses for the bald man.

Yeah, I reckon he would be our preferred choice if we showed an interest. Clearly we must be thinking about another right back if Trippier has been linked to a move away. Would be criminal if we don't even attempt to go for someone who ticks so many boxes for us.

If we had the balls to offer Toby a decent contract and sell Eriksen, Aurier, Wanyama for roughly £100m and reinvest it along with our CL earnings (total spend £200m net spend £100m) that could be our line up for next season. 4 new players is all, but quality signings in areas where we need them most. We’d still have Gazza, Rose, Trippier, Davies, Sanchez, Foyth, Dier, Sissoko, Winks, Lamela and possibly Llorente (not sure if he’s deffo off or not) in reserve. Wouldn’t have a problem flogging off Lamela and adding a new attacker too.
But this won’t happen. Protracted negotiations, last minute deals and cheap alternatives to the better players available will be the order of a the day.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
100% agree with your starting team for next season mate.... sadly i think It's more likely that Dier/ Sissoko will be there instead of N'Dombele and KWP will be RB instead of AWB. It's just not Spurs way of doing things to buy players where we already have players poch trusts. We might make a signing or 2 but won't address the real problems and we'll be caught short again through lack of squad depth as the season drags on and injuries build up
Has to be a summer where Spurs go big. This is one of those moments in football where you have an opportunity where the factors are right to push the boat out.
Get it right and Spurs will be the best club in London for years to come.
