Spend £88m on one will mean we won’t have enough for another.

We haven’t got unlimited spending power

How are £50m-£60m derogatory offers?! They had him on loan for just one season and bought him for £23m only in April.

People acting like it's football manager and you offer the release clause because "why not" without negotiating a deal where the asking price is clearly outrageous.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
the Lo Celso release clause is 88mln... smart business on their part. Nobody is saying that Levy has to pay that straight if the bat but there's no reason they should accept a discount bid either. There will be plenty of demand for the player so they are entitled to stand their ground. If spurs want him quick and want to avoid a bidding war pay the release clause.... it's very simple ... be saying it for months .... levy is a dinosaur in today's transfer mkt... he was made to look a mug by villa last season and Betis & Lyon will probably do the same to him this time around. Everyone knows he's a prlck and will not be looking to do us a favor
----------------------------------------------------------------------

We dont have unlimited money. We spunk £90m on one player, we get left with Trippier and Llorente.

We aint just going to find a spare £30m down the back of the sofa.

We could have a £100m budget plus sales, but that still means we have to be careful if we want 2 CMs, an attacker and a right back.

You say Levy is a dinosaur, why? City's record purchase is Mahrez at £60m, Chelsea's is £70m, Liverpools £75m

You expect Spurs to pay £88m on a young player who, lets face it, few had really heard of before being linked to us.

He's not worth it and even at £63m, thats a massive sum and leaves us with £25,000,000 in our pocket.

Get a grasp of reality. "Just pay the buy out clause" is idiotic talk

Here Diamondlights I remembered you stated something similar about VVD

It’s not just idiotic talk - it flies completely against how us as a club work. I know the last 18 months have been in the extreme, but generally, we don’t spend a lot (net spend). That’s the reality. So why do people wake up each transfer window and start thinking “this one will be different”?

I feel there will be money spend, but a large part of that will be generated from sales. So until those sales happen, I don’t seem more that £40-50m spent (1-2 players).

Shift Eriksen (£65m), trippier (£20m), GKN (£10m) etc... we may see 2-3 other coming in.

So for me, not much in until some go out. Obviously tho, if we see LoCelso as the Eriksen replacement, we won’t physically wait until Eriksen has gone - there will be movement in the background.

Spurs need to spend upwards of £200 million, if they want to be serious title contenders. The time for penny pinching is surely at an end.

I heard the new stadium is generating so much money that Levy spends all day literally w@nking into rolled up £50 notes while watching babestation from his private cheeseroom.

To be honest ,,,,,,,, poch has left me feeling Meh about football and spurs after the final by dropping Moura ..lost a lot of faith in him as the manager to make brave decisions and do the right thing
----------------------------------------------------------------------

If he had kept with Moura and left Kane on the bench and we lost he would of been pulled apart for that as well

To be honest Weare the whole team were rubbish, not just Kane, and they performed in the final pretty well how they have done since the New Year. Starting Moura would have made no difference at all. Moura still had 30 minutes to do something when he came on and did absolutely nothing.

The win over Man City in the QFinals and the last 30 minutes in Amsterdam masked over how poor the team have performed for months now. 11 points out of 36 in their last dozen games show you how bad the team have been performing.

The run to the CL final just covered up how poor the team has become now.

dont agree with tat at all, could of brought kane on if not going well, Son and Moura got us to the final and we did it without kane

Everyone i know was fuming before the game

stupid decision from a manager who didnt have the balls to make the right call
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I think only you and I, WeAre, are the only ones on this forum who actually see things the way they are.

Of course Moura should've started. End of. Kane ruined it for us. Along with the manager's decision to do the right thing and drop him onto the bench. Moura had just single-handedly scored the most sensational hatrick of all time and qualified us to the Final in the first place and then got benched yet everyone on here is saying that was the right thing to do. Beggars belief!

Without Harry Kane's goals against PSV, Spurs would not have even made it out of the group

At that time he was on form. At the Final (since coming back from injury the first time even) he hadn't scored since goodness knows when. You gotta play who is in form. Not a "has been".
