he's played deeper, so he says he's improved in the areas that he needed to, to accommodate to that position. ultimately he is much better further up the pitch.

Hes a better player now then when he scored a lot of goals 2 years ago

was just about to post up an article. I don't think Alli should be starting ahead of Lucas Son Kane or Eriksen next season.

This means he either re-adapts to a CM or sits on the bench.

The talent is still there, but where’s the commitment and desire? 🤷🏾‍♂️

I think Dele has become a bit of a victim of his own success in his first two seasons with us, especially his second one in 16/17, and people are being unfair in criticism of him.

He's only 23, his game doesn't rely on pace so he may not hit his prime for another four or five years yet. I saw someone say that he plays 'on the edge' which I agree with, as in he's always trying something to unlock the defence, which in itself means that he's bound to give the ball away more than someone like Winks which will skew his stats. But when it does come off, it often leads to a goal or a chance.

Players like Dele are very hard to come by and I think it would be a serious, serious mistake to consider letting him go.

Yeah what a caaant, sacrificing his own numbers to occupy a deeper role to make up for Levy not signing a midfield

Dele defo starts next season for me. Him, Son and Kane can form a fluid front 3. But we should be starting the season with a lot more forward options on the bench.
N'Dombele Winks Lo Celso in a midfield 3 with athletic full backs providing the width.

His goals have halved since moving from a second striker to a central midfielder?

Disgusting stuff from the boy

joking aside he is defo no central midfielder imo

loses possession too easily in deep positions and doesnt have the strength or distribution required.

posted on 11/6/19

Yeah he cant do enough on the ball yet for CM

Behind the striker with license to roam

Certainly missed his goals last term, although like Chris says its because we never signed a midfielder. Also had injuries.

defo what we should be aiming for mate. Dont for get Sissoko on the bench as well. Also another forward we will obviously sign

He's one of the worst players I have seen in fortnights. That's coming from a United fan as well.

I'm not privy to our finances, but I don't see why something like this is out of the question. Eriksen and Trippier/Aurier money, a maximum of five new signings (AWB, Lo Celso, N'Dombele, Sessegnon, New Forward), plus obviously getting rid of the likes of Janssen and N'Koudou. Would leave us so much better off.

doesn't even look like we are linked to AWB, gonna cost too much, i think we need to be looking at an alternative now unfortunately, but not that Japanese guy. Someone young and athletic.

It does look that way. Max Aarons had a good season but will probably want to stay with Norwich. Wouldn't be against trying to sign him and loan him back for the season to get Prem experience, and in the meantime either stick with Trippier/Aurier with KWP as back up or try to get someone like Meunier in short term.

Ricardo Pereira for a more under the radar option.
