no i think we're skint.

Only if we sell a few.

Very little.
He’s spent far too much already on wasted long contracts for dross players. May not have seen it in actual transfers but the wage bill has increased significantly and unfortunately none of those players are yet at the end of their contracts

If we can get in the 3 loans as is being suggested

Harrison - Man City
Costa - wolves
Kent - Liverpool

Then I am not bothered if we aren’t overly spending. Maybe would leave us a keeper short and defensive cover. Would be delighted with that even if it means to sell to bring in keeper and 1 defender.

Loans coast money.

We are losing money and don’t have any money so no don’t think we would spend much anyway.

I get what FFP should do. Should make clubs self sufficient and wages should come down to true market levels. Would still be so much money. Which is right. But at a sustainable level. That won’t happen though because the elite clubs have too much of a disparity in income now.

As for signing three wingers. I really don’t know why we want three more wingers.

Sign Kent and costa at most

Wages throughout the whole off football should be capped, that way football might be a little fairer on itself!..

To much money going to the wrong places!..

Silly question.
If AR has £ to spend we would be in the PL now.
January was unforgivable.
Then there is £18 million James
Again unforgivable.

Spend what?

His own money? I'm not going to criticise a man for not throwing millions of pounds of his own cash at transfers which may or may not work out.

Leeds make a loss before player sales every year and have for about a decade. There's no money to spend unless you want to be bankrolled by some billionaire

Almost every club at our level makes a loss. Clubs do not have the TV revenue of the teams in the premiership.
I am not sure how you implement a wages cap, pretty sure it would illegal and how do you stop the likes of Man City who can afford to pay more from just disregarding it. Can you dock them points for paying players what they can afford?
Since FFP is calculated over a three year period, what's to stop a richer championship club from taking a gamble, you overspend greatly in year one with the aim of going up knowing that at some point down the line you will be sanctioned knowing that if you can get up and stay up the sanction will have only minimal impact?

Spot on Elsbels, then you can do a Man City etc

I believe that in certain US leagues that the:
1) cap is annual,
2) for every $ spent over the cap, the club pays a “tax” into a fund,
3) the proceeds of the fund from all clubs over the cap is distributed to all clubs under the cap.

I may be not 100% accurate with that but I think that’s generally the way it works.

No because I don't think he has it, hence why I want this QSI investment.

But if we get the players in who we are linked to then ill be happy

It's that part of the year I hate.

So many linked players, so little certainty about what we can/can't afford.

agree VOF... nobody knows s8d all either so it always ends up in an argument of here-say..

We know we can’t afford, why are some so naive?
Surely January proved that.

Meanwhile pre season start is a couple of weeks away.

Club needs to sort out the Qatar link quickly and get the targets in before Pre season starts so we have best chance of success.

Well said Best, something that some don't seem to know is that AR said when coming in he'll be relying on the youth set up and that he wasn't going to throw his own money at it!..

Odd thing is he must have thrown some off his own at it, I mean, if he hadn't we wouldn't be where we are, in a better state than the Bates/Cellino crap up!..

Do you not think that if he wasn't here the PSG Royals more than likely wouldn't have even thought about taking us on, I mean, how much crap were we really in?..

To much for most people to either be able to or want to try getting us out off!..

Things are better even for anyone that might be thinking about taking us on, and that I think includes the Royals that it seems to be seriously thinking about it!..

That's sort of what my earlier post was hinting at.

That's the unknown in the room at the moment. If Qatar investment is on the horizon, then naivety may not be so much of an issue.

Jeez Germany, aren't you in the wrong place? - I thought we had to criticize what Radz has for breakfast ?

posted on 12/6/19

Sorry Spanish, I only stole that from Best!..

But I ain't no grounds for slagging someone off for trying to drag us back to life!.

posted on 12/6/19

well I can tell you this Germany... Radz had an extra spoon full of sugar on his porridge this morning... what an utter disgrace!! - it has to raise the following questions:

1. If Radz doesn't care about his own diet, how can he possibly care about Leeds United?
2. that sugar, has been produced and exported from a third world country, he clearly has no feelings what so ever, these poor children forced to harvest the sugar cane.

he is a horrible man, he should sell to Mary Poppins - she knows how to run a football club.
