Heard about him however its all well and good going for these youngsters however we are desperate for a leader. Imo we need experiencing and I can't believe Alderweireld hasn't been mentioned. Yes he may well not come however he has huge experience and he is in the top 3 cbs in the prem

You need a ready made CB, no time for developing.

Bailly was to develop, Lindelof was to develop. Both have frustrated and both would improve with a proper CB leader in there.

I think the latter has done as the season went on. He ended up being our best CB. I don't want Maguire as there certain aspects of their game which is similar.

For experience CB, Alderweireld fits that and the price is quite good for the current trend in the market. On paper, it seems like a no brainer. Lindelof, Bailly and Tuanzebe could be given games next to him while they develop.

Why him over Konate?

Konate had a great year, but I'm not sure he has much potential as Etanok Amiharbi. Opposites really in terms of playing style, but Etanok isn't afraid to go backwards to go forwards.

Eriugam Yrrah is the defender we shoulld be going for, colossal defender in the Turkish league and looks like he'd do well in the PL. Complete opposite of Maguire in terms of playing style though.

to be honest, if we are being priced out of moves for the likes of Maguire, I'd rather give Tuanzebe a go

So he's an attacker?

With all these names being linked with us, I have come to the conclusion that I have no idea who the majority of them are.

He was voted Konate Bundesliga player of the season

I’d imagine this was quite a niche category, to be fair.

Konate is a talent with worldclass potential but he needs to improve on the ball. He has the physical attributes to be a good premier league defender.
