You don't even need to score the early goal before you park the bus. We saw that last season. Just take your 0-0 and be on your way.

Stones at he Etihad again prevented a goal with that 0.3mm goal line clearance.

The way things look at the moment it will be the 2 of us going at it, Spurs if they sign well will be involved too, would be good if there was 3 teams involved the whole way through.

We lost the CL because we were naive. Ever since, Pep has learnt to adapt his tactics when we play you guys.
Drop deeper to cut off spaces for Salah and Mane to run into then use our potent strike force to hurt you at the other end.
Don't see this changing anytime soon.
I can't think that far ahead. I just don't think we will hit the 97 points height this new season. I expect City to win 3rd title on the bounce with 10 point lead.
Can see us costing one of you the title again this season, last season that draw scuppered Liverpools hopes, this season it could be City's.

Depends on your Summer dealings though.
If you put out the same team as last season, then I won't expect much from you guys.
And Ole has not really convinced me as a good tactician. He looks like someone trying hard to revive the glory days of Fergie years not realising that football has moved on.

Yeah and it's worked too, and I'm not one to buy into the idea that Pep somehow (or if Klopp did the same) betrayed their "philosophy" by adapting tactics for certain games, it's what a good manager should do!

A few clubs can lay claim to that though, everton, West Ham or Leicester for us for example.
Really the game (if you have to pick one) is us losing to City away. The other pints dropped were still very minimal in the overall season.
I wouldn't get to set on the date, there's surely zero chance of that game being on a Saturday.
