SG is obviously going for experience over youth, hence looking to put Hastie and Middleton out on loan and get guys like Stewart in.
Signing Stewart doesn't exactly excite me but he'll be a squad player and there's plenty of games to be played. Guys like Halliday did a great job last season as and when required so hopefully Greg will do the same.

I wouldn't agree that I thought Halliday did a great job whenever called upon.
Aye he played well against celtic and was OK at LB on the whole.
But when he plays in midfield which is supposedly his preferred position he is so limited.
He was fookin terrible in midfield against Killie in the last game. He is clearly a level or two below Dicker and Power as a midfield player.
In terms of Hastie - I would be keen for us to keep him this season. I think the lad could become a real asset and had built up a bit of momentum with Motherwell.
I am surprised we are talking about letting him go.
Hastie I don't think is ready for Rangers and sending him on loan isn't that bad an idea. At his age he needs starts not 15 minute cameos

He was fine. No objections. He filled in when needed, papped back oot otherwise. Job done.
I am happy to keep Halliday in the squad. He is a versatile player in will give a fairly reliable 6/10 against most teams.
But the reality is he is a bottom six standard player all day long.
Good thing is he will never complain though at being a bit part player at Rangers. No one else is going to pay him £5k a week and he is just happy to be there😂
That's exactly right. I'm sure he'll take it upon himself to be involved behind the scenes, meet'n'greet folks, etc.
I think he helps out with the youths too.

I'm not sure but i think so, i only read it because it pops up on Rangers news now links but it's fackin dire most of the time.
There might be more than one contributor though or he's even sadder than i imagined as he does sometimes use we at Ibrox Noise

I am happy to keep Halliday in the squad. He is a versatile player in will give a fairly reliable 6/10 against most teams.
