No idea. Though I hope its Lampard. The memes.
Lampard, Terry or Newton seem to be the picks.
Haven’t seen Terry or Newton mentioned once. Don’t know where you’ve pulled that from.
It will be Lampard.
Lampard is the front runner. Rafa has also been linked but can't see that with how he was treated when there last time.
Allegri linked as well but says he wants a year out, and Nuno Espirito Santo has been mooted too, but i doubt that would happen just yet.
It'll be Lampard and Jody Morris.
Biggest job in his home country.
I decent chunk of our fans have been idiotic towards him and Roman seems to dislike him too based on reports.
Cant blame him.
Now our clubs greatest ever player is going to have to deal with the worst starting situation for any manager since Roman took over
Good luck Lamps.

Would be amazed if Nuno were to go anywhere this summer but it wouldn't surprise if a year from now he moved on given it wouldn't be a stretch to see a slight step back next year with Europe being an extra hurdle for us.
Most managers with a stable job or reputation to keep in fact won't take the position as the situation is right now.
Lampard has one year in management. He could take this job and fail and still keep his reputation intact. Others might not find it so easy to do that.

it might be the start of the best situation ever....yeah I know optimistic...think the Utd youngsters that Hansen dissed back in the day.
probably too good a chance for lampard to pass up if offered but has done well at derby, wonder if hes thinking the opportunity will still be there at Chelsea weather its a year or two time anyway so try get derby up, again don't think that will happen
Probably too early for Lampard. Wouldn’t say he did a good job at Derby at all to be honest.
I think Sarri was treated very poorly. Yes maybe his subs or his football at times wasn’t the greatest but you have to give managers time to implement a style. He got Chelsea 3rd in the league, league cup final and won the Europa league. Bloody decent season for them if you ask me

Indeed, plus next season their squad will be the same only minus Hazard... will be a tough one for whichever manager comes in.

He did well at Derby in that he was crucial in pipe lining some incredible loans in Wilson, Tomori and Mount
Three of their best players
I agree it wasn't plain sailing but he showed good adaptation when he needed to which got them to the play off final
Would you be happy with him then Blarms?
My family team is Derby btw I did follow them a fair bit this season
Ask the Derby fans for their opinion too
Happy to see him back for sure
Our greatest ever player imo
Think we are handing him a sheite position though
Thin squad, Haz gone and no transfer window available for us. Will force him to play youth which was his MO at Derby anyway

This is my point... it's a bit of a poisoned chalice. But hopefully the fans realise that and allow him a free hit this season if so. Not something Chelsea fans, or management, are known for though...

He did so great he took Derby from 6th to 6th and had some money to spend and brought in some good loan players
The loan players were only there because of him and Jody
And uncharitable to not point out he improved on the play off result
As insaidnask the Derby fans if you want. Did you watch the club much or particluarly know anything about Derby?

Yeah I watched you a fair few times actually. In fact watched a bit of championship football last season. Don’t think Derby were all that to be honest. The odd good game but very inconsistent. Don’t think you were that much better than season before and results also tell that. In fact you finished with less points and less goals than season before despite bringing in some good youngsters on loan
Derby are an erratic club tbh
I was a big fan of Rowett but the inconsistency was there under him. I actually think they both delivered results above what the squad should
Rowett also had 6 seasons of management on Frank too
