You know that he is franticy looking at Google just to see if he can dig himself out of his holes.

The bottom line is that Ed has oeverseen the worst period in our history since the appointment of SAF.

And it will get worse so long as him and his sidekick continue to make decisions on fees, contracts and signings.

Pretty much.

The funny thing is, he doesn't have to leave. He just has to delegate parts of his job as its clearly too much for him. Something SAF learnt to do.

The sign of all good managers or leaders is not being autocratic and delegating stuff out.

Autocrats always fail.

In the other thread. You go over some points which I have countered in other threads. Such as your criticism of Dof and Committee.

Any facts provided or was it lots more speculation and tabloid nonsense?

No one cares to provide you with facts anymore as you just ignore them or pretend you are being told something different.

Here is a fact for you to ignore though. Ed and his side kick are totally oncompetent at transfer fees, contract negotiations and player recruitment.

Ed has failed in the position of leading the football side of the club. It's time he hands it over to people who know more.

Given that you take media gossip and speculation as fact, I dont think you are the best person to judge him.

Given that you provide nothing to backup your statements, you can't complain about how I back up my opinions.

Also, if Ed hasn't failed in your eyes, then what does it mean from taking a team that finsihrd 1st before he was put in his position, spent about 500m, to go down to being a 4-5 positioned team in average mean to you?

While the club makes money, it is a function of fan base. Like every club, united has a core and non core fan following.

The non core fan following is affected more by things such as results, trophies etc.

The fact we have retained such massive following even in our wilderness years means we had a lower ratio of plastic fans. But don't count on it to continue.

Media gossip and speculation..?! Eh?!

So, Ed wasn’t the one to offer Moyes a 6 yr contract. Ended up paying huge compensation.
Sacked LvG, and ended up paying huge compensation, so huge, LvG retired from the game, while still being paid by UTD 2 yrs later.
Sacked Jose, Ended up paying huge compensation.
The most yet. Over 15 Million...
or is this just all gossip?

Ed cannot be defended. His deserves the sack.
I’m pretty sure there’s other great CEOs out there in the world, that would kill for Ed’s position.
He has to get it right this window, or we have to revolt from day one against Chelsea.

I’m telling you, if I see Ashley Young and Jones starting against Chelsea, Imma lose my damn fool mind!

posted on 15/6/19

You could even excuse him for the first year. Even the second. But it's been a few years now.

posted on 15/6/19

Gives Jose a new contract then fails to back him in the summer window a couple of months later by getting him the new CB he wanted. Jose eventually gets the sack and the season ends in failure.

12 months on into another summer window and we are supposedly talking in the region of 80 mill for Leicester City CB Harry Maguire

Ed Woodward ladies and gentlemen

........

It doesn't say anything like that at all. It says he has been spectacularly bad.

So bad in fact that you have failed to come up with anything he has managed to do that has been of good benefit to the club.

It three days since I asked you.

Froze ticket prices

Raised the price of tickets to Barca fans to subsidise the United fans travelling to Nou Camp

Backed every manager. (Claims he didnt should be substantiated and as yet haven't been)

Refused to sell Martial (if the rumours are to be be believed)

Ticket price freezes comes down from the owners. It was done during Gill's time as well. His last four years in fact

....

Not a benefit to the club especially the playing side.

Backing his manager is the least of what is expected in him. It is the incompetence he has shown doing this that is the issue. All these bad signings, stupid over the top fees and wage contracts have already been highlighted for you.

You dont think fans feeling appreciated and supported is good for the club? Wow

This is debateable as to if this is a benefit to the club.

So what we are left with is there is vert little on the football side of things we can thank Ed for.

This is shown by the position we find ourselves in now.
