Is this to do with first team assurances? What does a 19 year old £3m signing expect to be paid?

Surely players like Ncham, Dembele and with Rangers Morelos and the likes are given reassurances that they will be in the first 11 or 14? I know nothing about this type of thing so I'm just generally asking.
A young Scottish player turning down any contract with the OF is pretty unheard of. Especially given Celtics (in recent times) history of propelling players into multi millionaires
Ryan Christie is surely the example of a player that players like Turnbull could aspire to. A good full season for a player like Christie could easily attract the interest of championship teams with lucrative salaries which are undoubtedly propelled by playing with celtic.
Waghorn is another example of someone who has carved a career where he will now out earn OF players
Foreign players that both clubs have signed generally come with the expectations that they can get an easier entrance to the EPL.
Its concerning that young Scottish talent perceive playing in league 1 or lower championship football as a better alternative than playing for celtic or rangers.

Apparently offered 10 times his existing salary an given he had a new 3-4 year contract recently then i would expect that he would have been on about a grand a week.
I also see the Lennoxtown cleaner has been sacked for allegedly being the cuplrit who leaked the "list" and her son who is one of the security guards has been suspended pending further enquiries. Greetin to the media they have been made a scapegoat.

He has made a blunder going to the press.
He should have kept out of that until he knew the outcome.
As for the fingernails comment....it seems like a fair question. His reply that his fingernails are longer makes me a bit suspiscious.

I actually back the board on this one
We've given him a good offer , we've been the only club to meet the asking price , we've made it clear he's wanted
If he doesn't sign it , we move on
Not bothered either way to be honest , he's very much a work in progress
