Juve are a huge global brand themselves, to be honest they should be able to afford the best players.

the club arent up to their necks in debt which also means more money could be used for transfers.

also they do bring quite a few youngsters through

I realize that. But the sponsorship deals surely aren't on our level. Their matchday revenue is nowhere near as big either. It can't be for reasons I gave above. And their TV deal is nothing like as good as ours.

It just looks a bit dodgy to me.

imagine the funds we would have though if the debt wasnt being funded and everything was being pumped back into the team.

Oh for sure. Which is why iv always been against the parasites.

However their numbers do still seem very iffy. Maybe they are gambling a bit and spending above their means. Not sure.

Ramsey on 400k a week is very interesting. Obviously he's a decent player but he's not that good to earn that. See how that effects other Juve players who might want a rise now. A bit like the Sanchez effect with us.

Also Pogba is hardly going to be cheap or earn much less. I think they could be up to dodgy stuff.

Don't have an account.

Also how does that even mean they can afford to pay a decent not great footballer, Ramsey, 400k a week. Isn't that going to have a huge effect on their squad? I'd be wanting a rise tbh if I was half of their squad.

I think it is a bit dodgy.

We are paying debts and the owners are also taking profits.

Juve are a top 5 club in the world, and it's not as though they have spent huge year in year out.

Apparently Ronaldo pays for himself.

They also made a few sales over the years, the last 5 years are £53m, £109m, £140m, £170m, £75m.

So yes, they can afford it.

They get a bigger share of the champs league TV money's there arent as many Italian clubs as English featuring in the competition.

All reports I have read are £300k a week for Ramsey.

A lot of money but less the £40m fee.

They've even signed another banker to their staff !...........always have been a dodgy outfit.

You think there is a club in any of the top tiers who don't have a magic accountant?

The do some pretty shrewd business in the transfer windows tbf, they're great at getting players on a free which I guess enables them to offer high wages.

Domestically they are pretty much the only club who own their own stadium so get their entire gate receipts. They are also the biggest and most successful club domestically and are able to cherry pick most of the best players from their league without having to spend silly money.

In recent years they also seem to be trying very hard to improve the branding of the club, with the new crest/logo, training school in England etc.

I'm sure they're doing it all within the laws (however much those laws can be manipulated).

They get deep into the CL every year, whereas United are in and around the Europa League. They don't have the huge debts United have and don't waste massive transfer fees and wages on players who don't contribute much, like United do. There's no reason why they couldn't afford these big players.

Juve will be under constant scrutiny because of thier past misdemeanors.

If they are doing something iffy they will get caught.

To be frank, there's a little bit of covert racism in all this. Italian champions for however many years in a row, consistently in the latter stages of the CL, the biggest club in Italy and a global name, and with a coherent financial plan....but they must be at it, aren't they? Because you know, they're Italians and Italians are dodgy.

Maybe, just maybe, they know what they're doing?

They make loads anyway, buy players for free and sell them for loads.

Is it racist when Man City are called out for it?

Or when Chelsea receive a transfer ban?

Umm...what?

Man City and Chelsea - found to be operating outside of the rules.

Juve - have a business plan but English people think it's 'dodgy' because....umm....it just looks it?

Are we considering them to be equitable?

Did you considering the fact every poster on this thread has said Juve are likely acting within the rules before calling the thread racist?
