Makes sense for a big club down on its luck. Domestic players are more likely to care about history.

Those 4 won't be enough to push us on tbh
Daniel James is a low risk gamble on a kid with frightening pace
AWB would be looked at as a great signing by every club bar Liverpool (and that's only down to the quality they have at fb)
Longstaff... Who knows? Looked quality but has only played a handful of games... You'd hope we'd have been watching him in younger age groups rather than basing any interest purely on his 9 senior games
Maguire... Not for that money, no thanks
Its not enough tho, we need real quality in midfield (at least to allow garner etc time to develop)
