From what I’ve heard (not seen him much) then he’s a real talent and is very likely to move this summer.
I fear we won’t be signing any big players though, I think our back up may be Shaqiri, Ox and Brewster. Big drop off in quality from the first choice though. Hope I’m wrong though because I absolutely think we can accommodate 4 top players for 3 spots.
our system has changed, we rarely press high up with the front 3 bobby leading the press, full pelt etc now. Our fullbacks have probably taken over from the high press as our main threat/creativity. We still use it but sparingly.
Got me thinking, how much more suited would a poacher be over bobby?, we'd still need one good enough for some decent link up play and creativity but one who can get in behind more, between the CBs etc and on the end of the danger balls our fullbacks whip in. Suppose it doesnt matter much when Salah and Mane are scoring 22 each, Bobby got 12 and we know what else he brings but could do with some more options there.

Pepe won't sit on the bench and Klopp won't disrupt a front three which is producing loads of goals.
This won't happen, I can see him going to Bayern.

His touch and link up play is very good. He is not a player who plays on the shoulder of the defender. Most of the times he drops in midfield to receive the ball.
I would say he is more a Firmino type player than Salah or Mane. He has the pace to play between the cb and full backs but at Lille he plays more centrally.
Well i said ive not seen much but the little i did he looked promising. His touch wasnt good though anything into him with a bit of pace or not inch perfect it bounced off him. Hes got the pace to recover a lot of the time but yeah his touch/control didnt look good. Impressed with his work rate and willingness to help out. Rare in a winger who scores a fair amount of goals. Hes got it all physically it seems, if Klopps interested im happy like i said.
I always used to bang on about the main thing i want to see from a liverpool player and thats positivity on the ball. This lads got that he always looks up for the forward pass or runs with it and asks questions or takes responsibility in getting bakc helping out or holding it up.
