Motherwell were so buzzing about the amount they went public (fan ownership perhaps means they have to let everyone know)

I don't think too many will think Motherwell have done too much wrong here.

There was clearly a lot of interest in the player and wanting to maximise their return on him whilst his stock was high they went public that they had a certain valuation initially.

Motherwell then announced Celtic had met that valuation. That was as much the club patting themselves on the back as it was them putting the info out there for other prospective bidders.

Don't see anything wrong with that tbh.

The conclusion of these deals is always reliant on passing medicals, meeting personal terms etc.

It really does surprise me that it seems to have stalled over personal terms. I would have thought Celtic would have done their homework and found out at least roughly what the player was looking for before meeting Motherwells valuation for the player.

Maybe the agent has shifted the goalposts on celtic?

I just find it a bit strange that there have been rumblings of Turnbull to Celtic for weeks now and the first time Celtic find out he is after £X a week is when they have done what is usually the hard bit and are trying to close the deal out.

Zach, I'm not saying players are blameless and I'm not pining for Jim McLean style 20 year deals, but at the same time I hate agents and think the majority of them are kants, so there we go

The agent in question is the one who has Armstrong and Ryan Christie on his books so wouldn't surprise me to see Christie being touted around now either.

If Turnbull wants to move to us he should be binning the agent or telling him to get the deal done for what Celtic offered.

It needs to be sorted one way or the other by the middle of this week, can't have it dragging on that we're waiting around for a boy from Motherwell ffs.

aye if its dead and he wants to go elsewhere thats fine, just hope we have backup options.

You can’t just do away with agents ffs

The amount of money in the game is staggering, even in Scotland at the bigger clubs.

£10-35k a week plus add ons and sponsorships can be anything on an annualised basis from £600k - £3m a year. For 4-5 years!!!!

Of course you have someone respires this your interests.
