Competing in it perhaps but qualifying should not be beyond us.

8 games and some of them in the most extreme of temperatures or far flung places just between our pre season friendlies after a domestic campaign with maybe 60 odd games for some of our players?
That’s a tall order in anyone’s book.

the groups are crucial for the dosh to stay on top for 10.
that said, if i thought it made any difference to us spending it then it would mean more, but we won't.
going into a 9 in a row season like a bunch of underprepared whanker amatuers.

If we were to qualify for the CL group stages this season then it makes the rest of the season and next much, much easier.
Sadly i think we'll blow it as we'll maybe only have one new signing by the end of June.
If that does happen, Lawwell should have to face a firing squad of potato guns.

i agree ginger but i dont think it was out of order to expect we might lose boyata, we knew there was interest.
