Excellent draw, the more you can ease yourself into this competition the better.

Shouldn't need a full strength team to win that tie, but then we have said that many times in the early rounds of the Carabao Cup and it hasn't turned out that easy

We have seen what these mighty prem teams have managed when not taking these ties seriously

About as good as it could get I think. Nice and close.

Torshavn would be a neat away game to go to

Always enjoyed learning about the pharaohs at school, so it would be good to visit the islands they originated from.

Just reading a little about these two clubs,

Torshavn almost always get knocked out in the 1st Qualifying Round of the Europa League. Although they did make it to the 2nd stage last year when Besiktas thenbeat them 8-0. Their stadium only holds 5,000 but for big European games they usually play at the national stadium which holds a massive 6,400.

Crusaders usually do get to the 2nd qualifying round, sometimes via losing in Champions League qualifiers, but regularly get thrashed at that stage. In recent years they have lost on aggregate 7-1 to Fulham, 9-3 to Rosenburg, 9-0 to Copenhagen, 9-0 to Ludogorets and last year 6-2 to Lubijana.

Whoever we play, the away match will be on an artificial pitch

Jimenez is still with Mexico in the CONCACAF Gold Cup and they could go on to the final on July 7th.

He'll need some kind of rest, so it wouldn't be a bad idea if we hold on to the likes of Enobakhare at least for the two legs in the Europa League, as the transfer window doesn't close until 8th August. That's assuming we're going to let him go.

However, signing a new striker would alleviate that scenario.

Keep politics out of this, I say. However, we're more than likely going to play in N.I.

It's the first thing to cross my mind whenever of think of the faroes(other than pyramids....thanks Tam). Saw a show a wee while ago and it really is brutal how they go about it but it has been part of their culture for centuries.

the faroes considered to be europes arzhole.
even the english who have invaded most of the world at one time or another couldn't be bothered with it.
we ( ie henry V111) even turned it down when it was offered to us for nothing

Just seen a photo of the stadium in Tórshavn. B36 Tórshavn share the stadium with HB Torshavn. On one side of the pitch they have 2 stands with a 20 yard gap between them. One has black seats in the colours of B36 and the other red seats in the colours of HB. Guess the Wolves fans will have to go in the red stand

Would be a good excuse to visit the Faroes. Might check to see if there are flights from Glasgow. Although I’d imagine it would have to be via Denmark.

Doesn't a ferry run from the shetlands or something or was that a while back?!

posted on 19/6/19

There’s flights from Birmingham to the Faroes via Copenhagen. Guess they will sell out pretty quick if we are playing there. Those flights are £450 today so I bet they will be fetching £1000 on the day

The Crusaders ground is down by the docks in Belfast. Only 5 miles from George Best airport and 2 miles from the Liverpool to Belfast ferry. Tickets for that game would be gold dust and sell out in minutes
