Foden will be in the next senior England squad no doubt. Brings so much to the party which others English midfielders lack.

As for Madison still find him bit of a show pony but again he will be knocking on the England squad. My England midfield will be:

Winks -- Hendo -- Foden

Madison is a brilliant player, awareness beyond his years

foden is similar to a young wiltshere in his body movement/balance, again looks a gen of a player and something England need more off

How much game time will he get a City?

Looks an unreal player but one I feel now needs to be starting regularly.

I think he will next season. The plan is to use him as understudy to David Silva, who will probably be in his last season. Foden started a few last season including big games - scored the winner against Spurs.

Not going to say I’ve seen lots of Maddison but to call the guy who created the most chances in Europe last season a show pony is possibly a bit harsh.

Dont think it's Europe but PL.He does look a good player but seems more in a Lallana mold which is alright

That's great for the young lad and if he can get into Man City's first team then that's great for England. Been crying out for a midfielder with his ability for a while now.

I thought Foden (& Madison) looked really good last night.

I just hope they're brought through and not immersed in too much hype and publicity.

Slowly but surely England are producing more technical players.

Good.

Got to be one of the best English talents in a long time, quality young player but he needs to play.

He will get plenty of game time next season. City may play 60 odd games and David Silva is aging.

Never made the connection but that’s bang on.

They both stick they’re head back a bit when accelerating. And have good choppy dribbling, with a brain, a football one at least.

I don't know the rules, if you have to play in qualifying. But rice, sancho and chilwell could of all played. England have some young talent. Mbappe could of played aswel tho ha.

Don't know why he was on the bench tonight but England paid the price.
