Glazers Out and Sancho

Sancho? That apparently 100m player that’s had one season in top football?

Yeah, Fack him. Far too early to be splashing huge cash on someone like him.

As for Sancho.
Firstly if he is settled in Dortmund and enjoying life why would you leave that and CL to come to a club in a current mess and in Europa league. He has no loyalty to us.
Secondly I wouldn’t want us to spend extortionate amounts anyway after one good season. Would rather see how he does first or go for another cheaper option. We do need a right winger tbf

Sancho showing loyalty to the club the gave him his big shot, to help the club push on to win the league and develop as a player is being criticised for not jumping ship in a big money deal?

Have a bit of perspective.

Just seems an odd time for it to be trending. Can't find any news related to the club that would have triggered this.

If I were him, I'd think twice too. He's still developing. £100m is a huge fee. The last two players we got from Dortmund and came with good reputation had flopped. I'd wait at least another year or two.

If we had qualified for the CL he would of come. We should be looking at players that want to play for United.

DM is a nice club but are they a more attractive prospect that united just because they are in the CL?

Nothing to do with the money. He would not be showing any ounce of 'loyalty' if we had qualified for the CL (if reports are to be believed).

He was never leaving. The player and the club made that abundantly clear.

I agree, I think we should wait, but in his case, I don't think the CL should be a deal-breaker when you're that young.

How do you know he would come if we had CL. He may well be settled in Dortmund and progressing very well

I don't think the Glazers have been that bad, the money has been available. Woodward and the managers we've had are more responsible.

Anyway, I don't want to get into a long debate about it. I obviously see why people are angry, just think the timing is strange.

If that is the case and he would of stayed regardless of our CL status, then I have no problem with that.

Not that bad....you’re kidding me right?
Have you seen the debt we are STILL in 14 yrs after they took charge?
Have you seen the money they have taken out the club?
The amount of money we make and vast majority of it not invested in the club just to line the pockets of themselves, Ed etc etc. It’s a disgrace

posted on 19/6/19

Could always have the saidi’s in instead?

Given that choice, I’ll stick with the glazers.

He left the strongest team in England to join a team trying to rebuild and compete with Bayern, what are you on about?

He’s pretty much the only example of a talented British player who took a risk and a step down to develop himself as well as join a club who clearly want to rebuild themselves.

It was a planned thing shared by a fan group to get it trending. Think the time they asked/proposed everyone used the hashtag was 20:05 or something which was the year they took over.

The Saudis are irrelevant to the discussion. When you look at all the money that has been haemorrhaging from the club, and them overseeing one of the most embarrassing falls from grace of a top club, despite spending nearly a billion, then the idea they haven’t been that bad is laughable.

1 down 3 to go. Get out of our club you parasites. Forever in their debt.

Absolutely true. But I’d still take them over the saudi’s.

Agree about the debt but always thought it was manageable and in recent years has not restricted us from spending. I suspect it has rised due to the fact that we spent generously on some players.

Not seen how much they have taken out of the club but they do own it and so they will take money out. The owners that spend hundreds of millions and don't take any money out for themselves are extremely rare. as long as they invest in the team, I'm not too concerned about that. Arguably, we need wholesale changes, but you can't argue that we've not spent an eye-watering amount of money since fergie left.

Ed woodward has been a disaster from a football point of view and I agree with you on that. They have to take the blame for appointing him but I don't get the sense that they are happy with the current status of the club in the way that someone like Stan Kronke would be. I think they've made mistakes but they do want to see united challenging.

No op, just a bunch of morons moaning about united's finances. I mean we spend £800m in 5 years and these cretins still moan.

State of united fans since the success dried up is embarrassing.

Hard to say his reasons. I don't think Dortmund would have sold this season anyway. And I doubt he would push for a move just yet. He left for first team football, so I imagine he wants to repay the faith they put in him. How many top sides would sign a teenager from the reserves, give him the 7 shirt number and make him a first team player? That's a lot of faith they put in him.
